Chapter 6
Even while seated in his car, Sébastien still couldn’t shake off the memory of the two kids he had just encountered. Particularly the young boy named Liam. He furrowed his brow as he thought about him.
How could that child bear such a striking resemblance to him? Who could he he? It couldn’t possibly be his own biological progeny, could it? As far as he knew, he had only ever been intimate with his fiancée, Ariana.
And even that, it just happened once under the influence of a drug. Moreover, he o ly had one child, which is Noah.
If his son, Noah, aged four, were to stand next to Liam, people might mistake the latter for his own child instead.
Yes! Noah is his son, but he bore no resemblance to him as Liam does.
Sebastien rubbed his forehead, allowing a mocking chuckle to escape his lips as he dismissed his own thoughts. How could he compare a total stranger to his own son? That’s absurd indeed.
Meanwhile, Liam had managed to navigate his way back to the spot where their mother had left them, tightly clutching his sister’s hand for protection, fearing that she might vanish again if he let go off her hand.
As expected, when they reached where their left them, the kids saw their mother in a state of frenzy, frantically inquiring about their whereabouts from people.
“Mom!!!” The two children called out, causing their mother to turn around swiftly to their direction.
“Hey! Are you alright? What happened? Where did you two go? Do you know how worried i was about you?” The beautiful woman in a mask asked, pulling them into a tight and relieved embrace.
“I’m sorry, Mommy! I saw—
“I saw something intriguing, and I dragged Precious along with me. She protested, but I insisted! That’s why we were both, gone. Im sorry!” Precious was able to tell the truth, but Liam intervened and took the responsibility upon himself.
Although their mother would never become enraged or scold them, as an older brother, Liam felt obligated to shield his sister.
Their mother couldn’t help but let out a chuckle. Of course, she knew who was at fault, but she was also pleased and gratified that Liam had already begun to protect his sister at such a young age. This brought the beautiful woman a sense of relief.
“It’s alright… Let’s hurry! Your uncle is in a state of madness waiting for us outside!” She said, taking the children’s hands and rushing out.
Yeeaaahhh!! Precious exclaimed joyously, raising her tiny left hand in celebration because she was going to meet her sweet uncle.
Liam simply shook his head at his sister, a grin appearing on his handsome face.
Finally, they arrived outside the airport. The sun was almost setting, casting a warm glow over the surroundings.
“SERENITY!!!”
A loud voice suddenly called out, causing a few heads to turn his direction.
“Hey! Serenity! Over here!” A man with blonde hair, sporting a brightly colored shirt and tight jeans, called out as he waved his hands frantically.
“Uncle Spencer!!!” Liam and Precious cried out, releasing their mother’s hand and running towards Spencer like a cannonball.
Spencer gracefully knelt down and opened his arms wide for the adorable twins to embrace him.

for that!” Serenity playfully scolded as she approached them.
Spencer put the kids down and pulled her in for a warm hug. “I missed you too, my dear!” Spencer declared, planting kisses all over her face.
Serenity couldn’t help but giggle before pushing him away.

“Enough jokes, Spen. Please don’t use that name in public now that I am back in this country. You know my new name, that” Serenity said with a serious tone this time.
Spencer nodded vigorously, understanding the gravity of the situation. They both knew they didn’t want to let that man or his family know she was back in the country.
As Serenity and the kids reunite with Spencer, a luxurious black car slowly passed by them without their notice.
Sébastien, who was in the car having a conversation with his son on the phone, suddenly froze.
At the corner of his eyes, he saw a figure he never thought he would see again. Did he see correctly, or did his eyes be playing tricks on him?

*Noah, son! I will call you back in a while, okay? Love you, son!” Sébastien said and immediately hung up the call.
Turning to his driver, he ordered… “Stop! Turn around! I need to get down immediately!”
The driver looked shocked at the urgency in his boss’s tone. However, he was also in a difficult situation.

Upon hearing his driver’s words, Sébastien became frustrated and opened the car to step down.
As soon as his feet touch the ground, he shuts the car door a loud bang and runs back to where he saw that figure who had been taunting his dreams for the past six years.
However, to his dismay, there was no one at the place he saw that figure. He searched around for a while but still failed to find her.
With a dejected look he walked back to his car and entered. “Let’s go!” He simply instructed his driver, who had then parked the car noy so far away after the traffic turned green.
“Maybe I saw wrongly.” Sébastien mumbled to himself.
Meanwhile, Serenity and Spencer, along with the adorable twins, had entered Spencer’s vehicle and departed down a different path.
Precious was enthralled, gazing out the car window with her glistening blue eyes.
“Wow!” She exclaimed, clearly enjoying the scenery,
Liam, engrossed in his phone, chose not to join in on the fun, just shaking his head. Sometimes, he couldn’t help but wonder why he and his sister were so different from each other.
Serenity, sitting in the front seat, removed her mask, revealing her stunning and sophisticated natural beauty.
“Damn… Ive missed this face!” Spencer exclaimed with a grin as Serenity removed her mask.
Serenity rolled her eyes at him, but smiled and decided to tease in him return… “Aunt and Uncle are worried about you. They want you to go visit them. They also asked me to try to convince you to get married.” She laughed at the twitch in Spencer’s mouth.
“Hey! That’s not funny! You know how frustrated they can get. I’ll go back when I’m ready, Spencer defended himself.
Serenity shook her head and opened her phone to check her email from her secretary,
