In the office, Raleigh heard the commotion and glanced up at Justin, who was furious. Then, he calmly finished signing the last document.
Justin was completely enraged by Raleigh’s calm demeanor.
He slammed his fist on Raleigh’s desk, causing things on it to shake.
“Raleigh, you’re quite cunning. Not only did you pretend to be me to get close to Stella, but now you’ve also hired her into your company. What’s your intention?!”
Justin ranted angrily, but Raleigh’s expression remained unchanged, fueling Justin’s fury
even more.
“Give her back to me! You thief!” 1
Justin believed that Raleigh had stolen Stella and her love for him.
“I’m sorry, but I can’t do that,” Raleigh’s voice was calm, yet his gaze was sharp as a hawk’s.
Justin chuckled angrily, grabbing Raleigh’s collar. “Stella belongs to me! Just because she’s with you now doesn’t mean she’s yours forever!”
“Stella is her own person. I can’t make her do anything against her will.”
Raleigh remained steadfast and he didn’t retaliate physically.
Hearing this, Justin punched Raleigh in the face.
“The doctor said Stella will recover her memory this month. When she does, she’ll come back to me! She loves me!” Justin sneered down at Raleigh with contempt.
Raleigh’s eyes darkened.
He had also consulted the doctor, who confirmed that she had a month left before she would recover her memory. 1
“Justin, you lunatic, stay away from him!”
I grabbed the keys to Raleigh’s office from his assistant, rushed in, and pushed Justin away forcefully when I saw Raleigh’s bleeding lip.
I ran to Raleigh’s side, gently touching his face. “Raleigh, does it hurt?”
Raleigh didn’t speak. He just kept staring at me as if afraid I would disappear.
“Stella, stay out of this. I’m going to teach this shameless man a lesson today!” Justin still wanted to hit Raleigh.

I got angry and pulled out a fruit knife, pointing it at him.
“You bastard! Try laying a hand on him and see what happens!” I shot him a fierce glare, seething with anger.
Justin hesitated for a moment.
“Stella, are you pointing that knife at me?”
He looked incredulous, clenching his fists. “Why are you defending him like this? Stella! Are you trying to drive me crazy? I’m your boyfriend!”
“I don’t have a boyfriend like you!” My heart felt a pang, and my eyes instantly welled up with tears.
Justin didn’t believe I would stab him. He turned and picked up a chair, heading straight for Raleigh. When I saw Raleigh didn’t move, I ran over and stood in front of him.
But after waiting for a while, I didn’t feel any pain. Raleigh blocked the chair, but his arm was bleeding.
I rushed forward and slashed Justin’s arm, making him bleed too, I angrily said, “Can you leave now? If you touch him again, I’ll call the police.” (1
Seeing me take out my phone, Justin, feeling aggrieved, had no choice but to leave. However, before leaving, he said, “Stella, you’ll regret this.”
I looked at him, holding back my tears.
Regret?
I wouldn’t.
As soon as Justin left, I hurriedly helped Raleigh apply some medication. Seeing the bruises on his arm, tears welled up in my eyes. I apologized in a choked voice, “I’m sorry, Raleigh. I didn’t expect that lunatic to come.”
Seeing me cry, he nervously wiped away my tears with his hand.

“But why didn’t you fight back? I remember you’re a black belt in taekwondo. Dealing with Justin, who’s weak, should be easy, right?” I asked in confusion.
“Taking a few hits is nothing.”
His gaze remained on my face, his voice low and hoarse. “Those who are greedy always end up getting punished.”
