With no money to his name, Declan couldn’t afford a hot meal. All he could do was wander outside restaurants, hoping to scavenge leftovers from the tables of others.
In stark contrast, Camilla was living a completely different life with Declan’s phone in her hand. The money in his account and on his cards was more than enough, and with access to the company’s finance department, she could even get reimbursed for her personal
expenses.
Her life was nothing short of luxurious. She stayed in the finest hotels, dined at the best restaurants, and bought whatever bags she liked, one after another.
By the time I returned from my five–day trip, Camilla had already started carrying herself like she was someone important, looking down on everyone, including me. When I showed up at the office, she couldn’t even be bothered to hide her disdain and openly mocked me.
“‘‘There’s the woman who couldn’t keep a man. I thought you might have jumped off a building in despair. But look at you, still alive.”
Before I could even respond, she saw Declan slipping past the security guard and into the office. It seemed like the sight of him reminded her of something crucial: She had only gotten to strut around in Declan’s body because of me.
In an instant, her smug expression faltered. She looked at me with a nervous, almost unsure glance.
Before I could react, Declan rushed into the room and grabbed me by the arm.
“Y–you’re finally back! Please, hurry up and switch us back! Please!“‘‘
He was unkempt, reeking of sweat and grime, and though his face was still Camilla’s, the
rest of him had lost all trace of his usual self.
Looking at Declan’s desperate eyes, I turned to Camilla.
“‘‘Sure, I’ll switch you back.“”
Camilla, who had been visibly anxious before, suddenly froze.
But she quickly stiffened her neck and tried to act tough.
“‘How could this even be possible? No human could pull off something like this. It couldn’t have been you. It’s impossible…”

Distracted by Camilla’s ramblings, Declan, who was standing in front of me, turned toward her and smirked.
“‘Impossible? Who says it’s impossible? Didn’t you have a good time these past five days? You didn’t have to worry about debts, and the money from my account and the company

were all at your disposal. You were living the high life, weren’t you? Well, that’s all about to end. Once I get back into my own body, just wait. I’ll make sure you feel every bit of the suffering I’ve gone through these past days.‘

At his words, Camilla visibly shuddered, her gaze darting away from him and toward me.
The last five days had been a reality, something she couldn’t deny.
She hesitated for a moment, then hurried over to me, gripping my hand tightly.
“Please… don’t switch us back! Don’t you remember how he betrayed you in the past? Men like him are all the same! Leave him! Keep me by your side, and I’ll do whatever you ask.“”
I let out a light laugh and pulled my hand free from hers.
“‘Well, I remember you didn’t exactly act like an angel when you were fooling around with him, either.“”
Camilla panicked, denying everything, saying it was a moment of weakness and pleading for me to let it go.
But I wasn’t moved. I stared at her, unblinking.
“‘You’re just a sly fox. Do you think I’m stupid? Cut the act.‘
Finally, realizing her lies weren’t working, Camilla slapped herself across the face in
frustration.
“‘I’m sorry. I was wrong. I didn’t mean it. I’m sorry, I’m sorry.”
She slapped herself again and again, each slap harder than the last. I couldn’t help but feel satisfied as I watched her.
Meanwhile, Declan, who had once been so wild and arrogant, was now left speechless.
“‘She’s not sorry. Don’t believe her. She’s just an opportunist who goes with the wind. Babe, we’re still married. We haven’t divorced yet, so we’re still legal partners. This time, I really know my mistakes. If you switch me back, I promise I’ll be a good husband from now on. I’ll be loyal to you, I swear.“‘
As he spoke, Declan reached for Camilla, trying to pull her away from me, but his small frame couldn’t even stop her, let alone hold her back.
Realizing his attempt had failed, Declan turned to me, grabbing my hand in an effort to drag me out of the room.
But I wasn’t here to play the savior to some unfaithful man.
I yanked my hand away and pushed him aside, my eyes fixed firmly on Camilla.
“‘Oh, I’ll switch you back, alright,” I said with a smile. “But it won’t be right now. The

most likely time is in 30 days…”
