Chapter 117 Damian, Are You Crazy
A few words from Damian had knocked her back into reality, making her ask to keep a distance from Noel,

Whitney kept her gaze on the window, staring at the flowers blooming in the greenbelt. “Rachel is three weeks pregnant. Aren’t you going to be with her?” she asked, her tone devoid of emotion.
Damian’s smule faltered for a moment as he didn’t know how to respond.
Whitney finally turned her gaze from the window and looked at him calmly, “She’s pregnant. You should give her a proper position. After all, she’s carrying the Howards‘ bloodline. If you don’t want to tell Grandpa, I can help you keep it a secret for a while.”

“Who says we won’t have children?” His tone was firm, without a hint of doubt
Whitney frowned. She wondered if he didn’t understand what she meant. She would never have childern for him.
The next moment, he said again, “Once Rachel has the baby, I’ll leave it under your care.”
Whitney’s eyes widened in shock. “You expect me to raise her child? Are you crazy?
“I won’t let the Howard family know she’s pregnant. After a while, I’ll arrange for her to go somewhere else, by the time we get married, I’ll amounce you’re pregnant too. If you don’t want to carry the child, no problem. Once she gives birth, you’ll be the chalil’s biological mother.”
Damian’s voice was low and hoarse as he laid out his entice plan.
Whitney stared at him as if he had lost his mind. “Do you even hear yourself? Damian, are you crazy?”
He was willing to go this fast to prevent their marriage from being affected.
“Do you think with the 10% of Howard Group’s shares, you can avoid your father’s pressure? Damian looked at her, a sinister smile creeping across his face.
Whitney tensed, her heart racing for a moment.
The medicine for your mother’s treatment is with Professor Morris. Without my permission, he won’t give it to you.”
Her hand gripped the seat belt tighter, her slender fingers turning white. She felt as if she might snap the seatbelt in two any second. “You’re despicable!”
Damian laughed. “Despicable or shameless, it doesn’t matter. You’re mine. In three weeks, we’ll be getting married. Stop thinking about escaping–it won’t work.
Whitney’s chest heaved as she glared at him. She was unable to believe that every plan she had made had been easily seen through and thwarted.
It felt as though she was caught in an invisible web. No matter which direction she nam, she would end up trapped and unable to escape. The web followed her, unyielding and impossible to break free from, leaving her with a sense of deep despair.
Damian gently touched her cheek, his gaze soft and full of affection. “Whitney, can we go back to how we were before? I’ll never ignore you again.” Whitney recalled in disgust and wiped her face with her sleeve. “Does Rachel know about this?”
