“What do you inean by Lyra’s funeral?”
“I said, I’m heading to Lyra’s funeral!”
“Joking about this at such a time–really, Caden?” Drake glanced at the confused guests around him and pulled Caden aside.
“Lyra sent you here to cause trouble, isn’t it? If you don’t want to be my best man, fine, but stop teaming up with her to bully Aeris! Aeris has waited three years for this moment!”

Caden sniggered sadly. “Don’t worry, she’s gone forever! She won’t stand in your way, or anyone else’s anymore. Today is her funeral!”
“Hmph!” Drake scoffed, giving a mocking laugh. He patted Caden’s shoulder.
“Looks like that woman fooled you too. You’re too young to understand.”
“Believe what you want!” Caden shook off Drake’s hand.
At that moment, the officiant appeared.
