Seeing Aeris’s tearful denial, Drake’s face was filled with doubt.
Caden looked at him with disgust and said,
“I have no right to interfere with the kind of woman you prefer. But as the mate of Silver Moon Pack’s Alpha, your choice of Luna must be responsible for the pack as well. You’re my brother, and it’s my duty to let you know the truth.”
At that moment, the office door knocked. It was my secretary.
“A man named James is here to see you,” she said.
“Perfect timing. Bring him in,” Caden replied.

James entered, glanced at Aeris, his expression unreadable. He then handed a stack of photographs to Caden.
“These are the photos you asked me to collect.”
Following Caden’s gaze, I caught a glimpse of the photos.
If anyone could see me now, my face would surely be bright red.
The photos showed Aeris, naked, with several different men.
“See for yourself what kind of life your so–called mate has been living these past three years. James is a renowned private investigator. You don’t seriously think I faked all these photos, do you?”
“Drake, let me explain…” Aeris begged in a panic.
Smack!
Drake slapped Aeris across the face.
“There’s no need for you to explain! I trusted you, waited for you for three years, and you’ve been making a fool of me all along! Starting today, you’re out of my pack and out of my house!

With that, Drake stormed out of the office.
“Drake…” Aeris ran after him. Just as she tried to get into the car, Drake shoved her out onto the street.
Aeris sat on the roadside, crying helplessly.
Caden stood by the floor–tling window, watching it all unfold. Then he muttered to
himself,
“Kya, did you see that? If I had investigated this sooner, would you still be alive?”
