Early the next morning, Caden went to the hospital.

He’d been pushing himself so hard these days, sleeping only 3 or 4 hours a night.

Caden held the vial carefully, as if I still needed it.
He then drove to my graveyard and placed the vial in front of my headstone.
“Kya, I’ve found the antidote for you.”
The scene moved me deeply, but it also broke my heart.

Just then, I noticed another familiar figure walking toward us under the moonlight.
