Amidst the struggle, she somehow managed to reach for a knife from behind her and jabbed it against Leo’s stomach. Her survival instincts had overridden all her sense of reason. She pulled the knife out of his flesh, then jabbed it in again with her teeth clenched.
Leo pulled away from her. Sweat started to pull on his forehead as he knelt on the ground with a hand over his stomach.
Rosette kicked him and taunted him, “You are the one who should die! Don’t blame me. You were the one who did this to yourself!”
