Anastasia looked at Kimberly with some worry. “Kim, you are not into Jason.”
Kimberly rested her head on her hand. “I am really into him.”
“Don’t mess with him, please. I’m begging you.” Anastasia whispered. “You can mess with anyone else on the street, just not Jason”
“No way. My competitive spirit is fired up. I don’t believe he’d pass up money, especially when he’s juggling three jobs, Kimberly said with utmost confidence.
Anastasia had a bit of a headache. “Kimberly, why don’t you put this energy into your work, okay?” Anastasia said helplessly.
“Feeling sorry for him? You don’t even like him, so why do you feel sorry? He’s willing to take it, and I’m willing to give it. At least he’s getting money out of it.” Kimberly scoffed.
Anastasia frowned. “Kimberly, don’t push it too far. Jason isn’t like that.”

No man was truly sincere, Anastasia wanted to say something, but Kimberly had already run off.
Supporting her wound, Anastasia got out of bed and moved to the window to look down Jason was downstairs, absorbed in his phone, probably dealing with work issues.

Anastasia felt a bit concerned that Kimberly might go overboard. She considered calling Jason but changed her mind.
Anastasia thought, “Maybe, as Kimberly said, it’s a case of one being willing to give and the other to receive. What if Jason really makes Kimberly fall for him! He’s such a great guy. He deserves someone better.
“Are you sure Anastasia asked me to go with you to drive? Jason frowned and asked in the taxi.
“Why would I lie? She’s worried and asked you to help with the drive,” Kimberly sat beside Jason and boldly leaned her head on his shoulder. “Jason, we’ve known each other for ages. Don’t you have any feelings for me at all?”
Jason frowned, “Sir, stop the car, please.”
Kimberly was momentarily taken aback and frowned, “What are you doing? Aren’t you going to help me with the drive?”
The driver pulled over. Jason got out and went straight to the front passenger seat. Maybe he was just worried that if Kimberly had an accident while driving, Anastasia would blame him.
“You’re quite the gentleman, aren’t you?” Kimberly chuckled, looking at him with a meaningful gaze. “Even a man with mysophobia like Alastor couldn’t escape Felicia’s tricks and entanglements. How long do you think you can hold out!”
Jason ignored Kimberly. Feeling bored, Kimberly sighed and stopped talking.
The car stopped in front of the Porsche dealership. Kimberly got out and raised her eyebrows at Jason. “My dad gave me his card today, so feel free to spend it. If you spot a car you like, Tll get it for you.”
Jason frowned at Kimberly without saying a word.
“If none of these cars catch your eye, pick a brand you love,” Kimberly offered “Or would you rather have cash? In Atharia, you were around the rich, but they weren’t as open–handed as me, were they?”
Seeing Jason still looking indifferent, Kimberly added reluctantly, “Jason, I can give you anything you want.”
Jason stopped walking and turned to look at Kimberly. I want Anastasia,”
Kimberly frowned, “Anastasia is not an option”
“Jason, look at your situation. You can’t give Anastasia the life she wants. No matter how tough things get for her, she won’t choose you over Zachary, I won’t let her suffer by being with you,” Kimberly insisted again.
1 can work hard to give her the life she wants.” Jason thought he could manage that.
Kimberly chuckled. “By selling your body, or by playing nice with those rich folks, begging for resources?”
