I admit I was attracted to her physically.

Just when I was about to make my move, my assistant told me she was Kendrick’s fiancée.
I was shocked.
I was frustrated. I loosened my tie and had my assistant arrange a party.
At the party, I saw Kristine again.
She had the polite, perfect smile typical of a high–society lady, holding Kendrick’s hand, looking happy.
But I saw the exhaustion in her eyes.
She didn’t seem as happy as the media in Aetheria had portrayed her.
Kendrick, holding a wine glass, joked about trying to be friendly with me.
I stared intently at Kristine, standing just behind him. lost in thought.
When Kendrick awkwardly tried to change the topic. I responded with a smile.
I knew that was the only way to get close to Kristine.
I had to make a friend of Kendrick.
Kendrick and I exchanged pleasantries, but all I cared about was

But just when I had almost given up, I found out she had called off the wedding!
I was ecstatic. I contacted Ophelia immediately and rushed to Celadonia overnight.
I realized it was time for me to make a move in love!
