Mark didn’t stop. He showed up at school,
sending me flowers, writing letters, asking
friends to talk to me.
I ignored him.
Debby showed up too.
She told me that I was going to be punished.

She got on her knees.
“Lisa, can you please stop seeing Mark!”

Passersby gasped.
Tommy pulled his hand, and swung his toy
sword at me.

The sword hurt.
Debby cried, pulling the boy in.

Debby was crying.

I laughed.
I was about to yell, but I heard Mark yell “Lisa

Mark was nervous and mad.
“Don’t make Lisa do what she needs to be

This made me sick.
The principal came running. “People is there

“I am the victim here. Please respect that my
child is not with his father. People are taking
advantage!”
