Late-Coming Family Affection Ch 8

Late-Coming Family Affection Ch 8
  1. 8

The dark clouds that I thought had

disappeared from my life were gathering

again, even thicker this time, making it hard

く

I don’t know who put the money in my desk,”

I said. But I swear I didn’t steal it.”

That’s all I got out before the other students

started yelling

I always knew Ashley had sticky fingers. I’m

not surprised she stole the money.”

Yeah, how else would she suddenly have

money to pay the fee?”

And we were all together during gym. She’s

the only one who was off by herself.”

She did it! You think she’s doing it because

she’s messed up in the head, and wants to

hurt us?”

I’m so scared! Since she came to this school

nothing but bad things have happened. She’s

a bad luck charm.”

She’s so awful. She steals from her

classmates. I don’t want to be in the same

class as her. Mrs. Davison, can’t you expel

her?”

Chrissy’s little minions were the loudest

Even I could see that she was behind it

Chrissy, it was you! You did this! Why are

you trying to frame me?”

I clenched my fists

Chrissy looked at me mockingly, widening her

eves innocently

Ashley, what are you talking about? You

stole the money. If I were you, I’d slink away

and drop out. How can you even show your face here? You must really disappoint your

parents. Ugh!”

I snapped. I charged at her, grabbing her by

the neck and slamming her to the ground

Desks and chairs crashed everywhere. The

class was in chaos

Everyone tried to pull me off, but I was on top

of Chrissy, putting all my weight on her

She screamed and scratched and kicked at

  1. me. I felt scratches on my face, but I didn’t

care. I just kept squeezing her neck

In that moment. I really wanted her to die

Chrissy, you already took seventeen years of

my life. Why do you have to keep ruining me

You’ve taken so much away from me. My life

was finally getting better. Why, why do you

have to do this

If you died, it would be so much better

You’re the one who owes me

Ashley, stop it!Mrs. Davison was yelling

Stop it, everyone! What are you doing?”

The commotion in our class quickly drew

attention from the outside

I saw a group of men in suits standing in the

doorway, with blood dripping into my eye

It was the principal, the superintendent, and

surrounded by them, my father

Our eyes met, and his face hardened

Chrissy was already screaming, Dad

Ashley’s trying to kill me!”
