This was all Aurora’s doing. No one could blame Whitney for this.
Aurea had just figured out her place earlier, the Klein family might have given her some respect because of their shared history. But she was still single, probably thinking she had all the patience and confidence to get the Sander family to agree to her being with Sidney, right?
sidney was all about Whitney now, and the Sander family was completely on her side. It was a mystery where Aurora got the nerve to keep acting so high and mighty in front of her, Was it just because she did well in school?

Now, she was just a small–time lecturer at a university. Her name barely even showed up online. She was a nobody
Not only had she embarrassed the family and caused trouble with Jordan, but Ryan was furious too. And now, she had put Whitney in the hospital. Ryan would definitely get a little payback from Wendy.
Wasn’t Aurora always so devoted to Wendy? Whitney couldn’t wait to see how Wendy would handle this.
Wendy was such a fool She wouldn’t dare fight back. She thought if she kept quiet, Ryan and Rosalie would support Sebastian. But what she didn’t know was that Ryan had already been quietly passing on the family business to Whitney and Alexander.
Sebastian was out of the picture. It was just a matter of time before it was all official.
This hadn’t gone public yet because the timing just wasn’t right.
A knock on the door pulled Whitney out of her thoughts, and she quickdy put away her phone.
Soon, Linna came in, carrying a tray of breakfast.
“Didn’t you get enough rest? Your dark circles are awful. How’s your ankle? I brought you breakfast. It’s all your favorites”
Linna set the breakfast down and checked Whitney’s ankle
Whitney chuckded softly, her tone gentle. “You’re overeating. I told you I’m fine. It just hurts a little. The doctor says it’s a minor injury–just some bruising and nothing serious. You’re making it such a big deal, getting everyone all worked up.”
“How can not be worried?” Linna slant back. “You’re hurt so badly, and you even need to take time off to rest. You don’t think that’s serious? By the way, your dad’s been really worried about you. He’s mad at Wendy and blaming her for not teaching Aurora properly. He’s going to make sure she gets what’s coming to her. That girl’s got a hugergo for someone so low–class.”
Hearing Linna’s words, Whitney couldn’t help but feel pleased. As expected, Ryan would make Aurora pay for all the wrongs and humiliation.

“Alright, Linna, stop We’re family. No need to keep talking about this. Did my dad… Did he go after Wendy again?
Linia smirked, clearly satisfied. “Your dad’s just looking out for you. He’s just taking care of business. Aurora’s been so cocky, so she needs to learn a lesson. And someone’s gotta put Wendy in her place, especially for her daughter’s sake.”
