“I checked your resume from Astrait University. When I first joined, you were probably still working on your PhD. With your background and expertise, why didn’t you go abroad for further studies? It should’ve been easy for you.”
Owen smirked and flipped a page in her book “Why ask? Do you think the local options were lacking, or…”
“I don’t mean anything by it. I think Astrait University is great. But there are advantages to seeing what others do, and sometimes, it’s good to leam from different places. Plus, the field you’re in is much more advanced in countries like Thassa or Maloria. I can tell that your thirst for knowledge is just as strong as those of us in research.”
