As the audience’s anger peaked, fueled by the judges‘ absurd comments, I posted two updates to my social media:
The first was a video of me in the practice room; painstakingly perfecting each movement. The second was a recording of every conversation I’d had with Jason about the stage design.
The backlash was immediate and explosive.
Under the barrage of outrage, the show was forced to cut its livestream and issue an emergency statement, claiming they would investigate the matter tho viewers for patience.

Satisfied that the storm was brewing, I stepped out of my hiding spot in the dressing room.
Julian was the first to spot me. His eyes lit up, and he approached quickly, holding a bouquet of vibrant Louis XIV roses.
“Victoria, I had no idea your performance would be this incredible…” Julian said, extending the flowers toward me.
“Congratulations.”
I glanced past him at Averil, whose face was twisted with resentment, and let a smile tug.at my lips.
