Chapter 13
“Stella, you shouldn’t do something that you’d regret!” Justin yelled from outside the door.
I remained silent.
Justin didn’t stay long either. He returned to the villa and, upon entering, angrily kicked over the table, making enough noise to startle Jasmine, who was applying a face mask inside.
She hurried out, seeing Justin sitting on the couch with a frustrated expression.
“What’s wrong?” she asked cautiously.
“Stella said she wants to marry Raleigh, but she should be marrying me! Do you think she’ll never remember me?”
Justin’s heart clenched with pain at the thought of Stella’s disgusted look moments ago.
Stella had never treated him like this before!
Jasmine frowned at his words, but still forced a reply, “How is that possible? Didn’t the doctor say she would remember eventually?
“But I saw Stella and Raleigh together, they seemed really happy. One of my classmates saw them at the amusement park, they looked just like a real couple.”
As she spoke, Justin suddenly remembered Stella’s recent social media posts.
He took out his phone and scrolled through her feed which was filled with photos of her and Raleigh. Both of them were smiling happily, just like a genuine couple.
Justin’s hands trembled uncontrollably.
He had been pursuing Jasmine relentlessly during this time, completely unaware that Stella and Raleigh had become so intimate.
When they first got together, Stella was just like now, taking photos with him every day, posting on social media, calling him every day, or sending messages if she couldn’t call.
But now…
It had been a while since his phone last rang with Stella’s call or received any messages from her.
It was as if he had disappeared from Stella’s world.
A sense of loss hit him hard in the chest.
The next morning, he waited for me downstairs at the Landon Group building.

As I stepped out of Raleigh’s car and saw Justin, Raleigh noticed him too. I didn’t look at Justin. I simply held Raleigh’s hand and walked into the company with a smile.
Justin didn’t confront us, but he kept following
However, by the evening, he couldn’t hold back any longer. With red eyes, he ran up to us, flipping through the photos of us together, pointing angrily at the happy me in those pictures.
“Stella, look closely, your boyfriend is me! How could you joke around with other men? How could you treat me like this?”
Raleigh’s expression tensed, and he tightened his grip on my hand.
Justin flipped through our old photos one by one, trying to trigger any memories in me, I just looked at him with indifference.
but
“I’m sorry, Mr. Reed, even if you were to photoshop us together, I still wouldn’t acknowledge that you’re my boyfriend. I only remember Raleigh. I only know that Raleigh is my boyfriend,” I replied calmly.
With that, I pulled Raleigh away.
Justin watched us leave, his eyes turning red. He couldn’t and would never accept it!
He drove to the hospital, grabbing the doctor’s collar and demanding, “Didn’t you say Stella would remember me within three months? Why hasn’t she remembered me by now?”
The doctor was startled by his reaction.
“Mr. Reed, in my experience, three months is typically the maximum timeframe. If Miss Wright still hasn’t regained her memory, it’s possible she’s a unique case and requires more time,” the doctor explained.
“How much longer?” Justin yelled at him.
“Mr. Reed, please calm down,” the doctor urged.
“Calm down? How can I calm down? My girlfriend is about to marry someone else! How do you expect me to calm down?” Justin roared.
