“Mr. Reed, looking at Miss Wright’s condition, you might need to spend more time with her, and take her to places you’ve been before. It might help her remember you,” the doctor said.
“You’re useless! And to think you call yourself the best neurologist in the country. If Stella can’t remember me, you can forget about keeping your reputation!” Justin shoved the doctor aside, scolded him, and then left.
However, before Justin could put his plan into action, his father found the villa where he and Jasmine were living.
Justin was holding Jasmine, drowning his sorrows in alcohol. When he saw his father, he stood up in fright, trembling as he spoke, “Dad, how did you…”
Slap-
Austin Reed had slapped Justin so hard that it rendered Justin speechless.
“I was wondering why Stella resigned to go to the Landon Group. It turns out you are having an affair! You bastard! Are you trying to ruin me?! Do you have any idea how important Stella is to our company!” Austin seethed with rage, his whole body trembling. “Dad, it’s not my fault, Stella mistook me for Raleigh, what could I do?” Justin said weakly. “I know, and I also know it was you who pushed her into the sea!” Mr. Reed said angrily.
Justin was stunned.
“I’m warning you, you’d better pray that Stella’s dad doesn’t find out about this. If he does, he’ll definitely withdraw his investment, and when that happens, you better not blame me for disowning you. Your brother can take your place!” Mr. Reed delivered his ultimatum.
“Dad, what are you saying?” Justin couldn’t believe it.
Austin didn’t waste words with Justin. He glanced coldly at Jasmine and left directly.
As soon as Austin left, Jasmine immediately went over to Justin with a frown and said, ” Justin, what does your dad mean? He must be joking, right?”
Justin sat on the sofa, despondent, not hearing a word Jasmine said.
He hadn’t imagined that without Stella, everything would fall apart.
His heart was in chaos, and so was his mind.
That night, I stared at the dozen missed calls on my phone for a long time.
My phone kept popping up messages from Justin, I glanced at a few of them.

“Stella, can you please answer my calls?”
“I have something very important to tell you.”
I didn’t continue reading the messages and turned off my phone to sleep.
A few days later, I suddenly received an email inviting me for an interview on a program that promised a big reward. I recognized the program and readily agreed.
Raleigh’s expression remained serious after learning about it. On the day of the recording, he suddenly grabbed my hand and hugged me tightly, his voice trembling slightly as he whispered, “All the best.”
I smiled in response.
“Thank you.”
At the venue, there was a large screen and numerous devices, giving the impression of a live broadcast setup. The host interviewed me, and at one point, asked about my first love.
I fell silent.
Then, on the side screen, photos and videos of Justin and me from our courtship to falling in love began to play.
I watched without much reaction.
“Stella, do
you remember? I proposed to you here before, and the entire River City witnessed our proposal.
because “I don’t blame you for losing your memory, for mistaking someone else for me, I’ve always loved you deeply. You’re the only one in my heart,” he said, his eyes red with emotion.
“In college, I walked you home in the rain, brought you food, took you out to play. When we graduated, you promised we’d always be together. Don’t you remember any of that?”
The barrage of comments on the screen echoed Justin’s heartfelt words.
My parents were also present.
“Stella, the entire River City can testify that I’m your boyfriend. Please, believe me.” Justin stepped forward and clasped my hand.
“I, I think I’m starting to remember…” I said, clutching my head.
