Justin’s eyes lit up.
“Stella, really? Do you remember me?” He rushed over, gripping my shoulders excitedly, his eyes red with emotion.
On the other side, Raleigh, upon hearing this, lowered the tablet and stared at the photos of

He would eventually wake up from it.
“Do you recall that I’m your boyfriend?” Justin noticed my silence and intensified the pressure of his hands on my shoulders, urgency creeping into his voice.
“I remember,” I said with a cold laugh.
Justin was so excited upon hearing this that he wanted to hug me, but I raised my hand and blocked him.
“I remember I only agreed to be your girlfriend after you pursued me for three years. I remember how emotional you were when I finally agreed, and I remember your promise of a lifetime together. All of that is still vivid in my memory,” I said, tears welling up in my
eyes.
“But do you remember any of these?” I asked Justin.
Justin was at a loss for words.
“You mentioned buying me food and giving me an umbrella back in university, but that was just during the initial days. Do you recall what I did for you afterwards?” I persisted.
Justin realized he was in trouble and whispered for me to go back inside.
“Your reaction tells me you probably don’t remember.
“I stayed by your side the entire time when you were sick, helped you consume alcohol at parties so you wouldn’t get drunk, and worked tirelessly to handle the company’s affairs and the messes you caused.
“When you were attacked, I got injured trying to save you. Do you remember any of that?” I shouted angrily, tears streaming down my face
I had exhausted all my strength for Justin!
“Stella, I remember,” Justin said anxiously, grasping my
hand.
“You remember?” I raised my hand, tears still in my eyes.

Suddenly, the screen revealed images of Justin with another woman nestled in his arms on a bed. Her face was hidden from view, yet her neck bore the unmistakable signs of passionate kisses.
But that woman clearly wasn’t me.
Justin’s eyes widened in shock.
“Stella, you actually installed surveillance? How can you be so shameless?!” Justin exclaimed in frustration.
“I’m not interested in watching your romantic affairs with other women. Your mistress was the one who sent those photos to me last night,” I said, my eyes red, glaring coldly at him.
Justin was in disbelief.
“What nonsense are you talking about? Jasmine is so innocent. How could she possibly do such a thing?” He was furious and still couldn’t believe it.
“Yes, she’s the young and innocent one while I’m malicious and sinister,” I retorted, looking at him disappointedly. Justin realized he had said the wrong thing and tried to make amends, but I took two steps back.
Ignoring me, Justin hurriedly shut down the live–streaming equipment and dispersed the unrelated personnel before turning to me.

“Stella, do you want to ruin my reputation?! We’ve been together for three years. In these three years, haven’t you loved me at all? How could you be so heartless?!” Justin was furious, questioning me.
“Now you’re scared?” I said, my eyes red, laughing at his fearful and uneasy look.
“Stella…” He reached out to hold
my
hand.
“But when you pushed me into the sea just to impress Jasmine, did you ever think I’d be scared as well?!” I shook off his hand angrily, questioning.
My father, in the audience, nearly fainted upon hearing this.
“I still have nightmares “I still have nightmares about that fear and suffocation. I wake up scared every time. But how could you still live such a carefree life? You pursue another woman, buy her luxury
