In a flash of anger, Serenity’s piercing stare silenced the reporters, her eyes screaming “not another word.
“Let me tell you, if you don’t know what court–ordered letter clearly means, go and find out how you gonna be catalyst for your unwanted visit. She shot coldly at them.
Harris’s wife, Sasha, seethed with rage, refusing to let the journalists leave until they admitted their deceit, came rushing out and hurled insult at them.
“You stupid ants! How dare you think you can come here and cause this insanity. What’s your company’s name? Tell me!? i will make sure your filthy company disappears from the surface of the earth!” Sahara kept on with her insult.
Before the situation escalated, we had only intended to record a report, nothing else.” The female reporter tried to defend themselves.
But Sasha, who had been watching everything from the inside, was incensed. She lashed out at the reporters, her face twisted in fury. “You foolish people! Do you think you can waltz in here, spew stupid propaganda, and get away with it?
This is MPK! The Williams family company. How dare worms like you step your foot here! You think you can get away with everything you’ve done? Not on my watch!” She said crazily and prepared to rash to one of the reporters.
Just as she charged at one of the reporters, Harris, who had also been observing the scene from inside, rushed out to restrain her immediately.
He was furious, but not with the journalists his anger was directed at his wife. How could she be so reckless, he thought, unwittingly humiliating their family?
Sasha, still fuming, screamed at Harris, demanding to be released. “You’re not saying or doing anything! Why are you stopping me from defending our family? These dogs needs to be thought a lesson! Sasha practically yelled at her husband.
Harris, struggling to contain his own rage, leaned in close to her ear and whispered….
“Sasha, this is MPK. You’re a part of the Williams family now. Your behavior is far more embarrassing than anything these reporters have done. You were hiding inside, panicked, until Serenity resolved the issue. Now, you’re causing more chaos. If you don’t stop this, I will divorce you. After that, he moved away from her.
He knew with his threat of divorce, Sasha will stop her craziness and it indeed worked.
The word “divorce had a profound impact on Sasha. She knew Harris was resolute, and if he decided to take action, he would follow through. Fear crept into her heart, and she faltered, shooting one last glare at the reporters before hastily retreating inside.
As the reporters hastily departed, families of the victims who had accompanied them began to vanish one by one. No one wanted ro stay there any longer.
However, two individuals caught Serenity’s attention, and she beckoned them to her side. They were the same man and woman whom she had asked about their family condition earlier.
The man and the woman curiosity led them to halt, and they turned to face Serenity, their faces etched with worry. “Why did she want to speak with them, and what did she plan to do they wondered, wanting to run away as fast as they could.
As they started to panic, Serenity reassured them, “Don’t worry, we won’t harm you. We just need to ask you a few questions, that’s all we ask” she said with a warm smile, which was different from her cold smile earlier.
Although the man and the woman apprehension slowly dissipated, they still remained cautious, their skepticism still palpable.
Serenity, sensing their unease, approached them and said, “Listen, if we truly intended to harm you, we could find your anytime, even at your home. But we simply want to ask you some questions, and I promise you’ll be safe. As a lawyer, I’m bound by the law and would never act against it. She reassured them with a gentle tone.

Serenity’s words seemed to soothe the couple, and they eventually relaxed, their faces reflecting a mix of relief and curiosity.
As they followed Serenity into the building, the employees and the Williams family watched in awe, stunned by her ability to pacify the confrontational individuals who had been causing a commotion for over a week.
Just how did she do that?
The moment Serenity entered the building, her bestfriend and fake husband, Alex, rushed to her side, embracing her tightly.
Serenity was startled by his sudden gesture. “What’s gotten into you? You’re being childish, Alex. Cant you see how all eyes are on us?” Serenity pulled away and glared at him while smiling inwardly.
Alex replied with a grin… T’m your husband, and I have every right to congratulate you with a hug, especially after your remarkable achievement over there.”
Serenity just ignored his remarks. She wasn’t in the mood to continue to bicker with him. She has something Important to do.
She pushed him aside and walked passed him. However, the moment she took two steps, she came face to face with Sebastian.
Well, great! Another nuisance! She thought as she rolled her eyes at the handsome man in front of her.
