Chapter 31
“I am so glad I can be of help to you Alpha and Luna. What seems to be the problem” the doctor says as I sit on the
bed.
“Thanks for seeing us on this short notice but I have been spotting since morning and I am scared something has happened to our baby“I say worriedly.
“Okay. Can you lay down and raise your top a little bit” she says and I do the same.
“This is going to be cold. I am going to rub the gel on your bump” she explains and I nod.
Zander holds my hands tenderly and squeezes it a bit, he has been more worried about this more than I am.
She places the doppler on my stomach and the image begins to appear on the small screen.
“Okay it looks like everything is fine. The spotting is just normal” she says still moving it around my bump. “Can…we know the gender yet?” Zander asks.
“It is too early to know but you can hear the heart beat for the first time” she says and seconds later we can hear the fastest heartbeat ever.
“Baby is fine, nothing to worry about” she says but I am already in tears hearing my baby for the first time.
I am falling in love with it already.
“Thank you so much doctor” Zander says and gently wipes my bump with the tissue.
He helps me stand on my feet as we leave the room.
“I need to start shopping for the baby’s things. I have already asked Marcus to bring me baby clothes and other accessories on his next visit” I say.
“I don’t like him” he growls.
“I know but you have to because he got to where I am today. He saved me and I’ll always be grateful to him” I tell him point blankly.
He sighs and stops but I continue to walk ahead of him.
He comes and grabs my waist and kisses my lips tenderly.
“I am sorry. I am sorry for everything. I know I never got to apologize for hurting you and being mean to you when you came here but I am sorry. Please forgive me, I want us to have a clean a slate, for our baby’s sake” he says and kisses my forehead.
I sigh and lean into his touch. “I already forgave you Zander, unlike you, I have a tender heart and I don’t want the baby to suffer from a broken home“I tell him and he kisses me so passionately.
Thope this doesn’t blow up my face.
I have never felt this happy in my entire life. Zander treats me like a princess, no, a queen. People at the pack have started to see me as their Luna but others still think I am disgusting.
Zander hasn’t still told them the truth about the rejection and I am just waiting for him to do so.
Mama has moved into the pack house along with dad, we still aren’t on good terms but we greet each other.

Kaden and I are still not talking, I am okay with that. Now, I don’t want to stress myself for someone to like me, I only think about my baby and myself and our well being.
My pregnancy has been going on smoothly, I have been getting lessons from Tasha and mom, and now I spend most of my time at pups daycare.
I am now in my second trimester.
“Hey darling, how are you feeling today?“Zatider asks me lossing my neck from behind and hugging me.
I am good, just feeling a little bit dizzy but the doctor said it is normal” I tell him
“Baby, please rest like I told you to. Hmmm… I don’t want anything happening to you or the baby” he says and I

This is my first time of seeing pure fear in his eyes.
“You don’t have to worry, the baby and I will be fine.Tell me something about your son. Rare” I say and his eyes softens.
