to Leo. It read, “Leo, I have important news for you. It’s about Heidi. Can we meet?”
Leo’s reply came brief and quick. “Tell me where and when.”
Delighted, Rosalie sent him the location of a restaurant and headed out. Judging from her expression, she must have been anxious to meet Leo.
I was forced to follow her to the restaurant. Leo was already waiting.
He looked stern. Rosalie had barely greeted him when he cut straight to the point. Staring into her eyes, he asked, “What’s up with Heidi? Did Ethan bully her? Or did anything happen to her?
Rosalie was stunned at first. Disappointed, she asked, “Can’t you first greet me when we meet? Heidi’s all you talk about.”
Leo frowned. “Rosalie Talbot, I’ve only come to meet you because you said you had something to tell me about Heidi. I’m busy! Don’t pull the same tricks on me. I don’t have the time to entertain you!!!

Noting Rosalie’s silence, he got up to leave. “Stop texting me If there’s nothing to talk about.”
Panicking, Rosalie grabbed him. “Leo! Do you like Heidi that much? She’s already been married for two years. Have you not forgotten about her?
“She abandoned you to be Ethan’s wife! She would do anything for riches. Why would you still be thinking about her?”
As I listened to her trying to manipulate the truth, I almost burst out laughing.
When I broke up with Leo, I told him I had reasons of my own for doing so. I didn’t expect my dear little sister to establish such an image of me
Leo frowned. “I know what Heidi is like. This is my business. It has nothing to do with you!” Teary–eyed, Rosalie tugged his shirt. “How does it have nothing to do with me? I like you, Leo. It’s been two years. I believe you must’ve known that by now.”
Leo shoved her hand aside. Coldly, he said, “As you are to Heidi, you’re only like a sister to me.
Rosalie’s eyes reddened. She was crestfallen.

right beside him the whole time.
A week later, Rosalie and Ethan got married as planned.
Leo received a call. Soon, a couple came to him with a box. When I saw the familiar packaging, my heart jolted.
As Leo opened the box, I was all the more sure that the box was the one I delivered to my only friend, Yana Lisbon.
She was the only one I’d told about my illness and how little time I had left to live. Back then, she wanted to visit me, but I declined. It would trouble her to come as she was studying abroad. When I visited the places I wished to see, I sent her a postcard upon reaching every destination. At my final stop, I not only sent her a postcard but also a memory card containing the photos I took on my journey. I gave it to her as a remembrance. I never expected her to get someone to pass it all to Leo.
Leo stayed at home the entire day with the box. He gazed at the postcards and photos repeatedly before carefully keeping them away.
