Leo received a call. Soon, a couple came to him with a box. When I saw the familiar packaging, my heart jolted.
As Leo opened the box, I was all the more sure that the box was the one I delivered to my only. friend, Yana Lisbon.
She was the only one I’d told about my illness and how little time I had left to live. Back then, she wanted to visit me, but I declined. It would trouble her to come as she was studying abroad.
