Chapter 10
As Ava reached the entrance, a motorcycle raced toward her and abruptly stopped in front of her, as wheels screeching against the ground -emitting a piercing noise.
October in Rosemont felt like midsummer, with the heat waves rolling through the air,
Ava had fair skin and was wearing a white chiffon blouse, which, under the sunlight, made her appear radiant, as if she were glowing
She tilted her face upward, embracing the sunlight.
The brightness was blinding, causing her eyes to narrow, and her long eyelashes seemed to be coated with a layer of golden light.
Matthew tossed a helmet at Ava and clicked his tongue. “Ava, how rough can you live? It’s broad daylight, and you don’t even bother to use an
umbrellat
Ironically, Ava never seemed to get tanned.
She defily caught the helmet he threw and put it on, looking at Matthew.
His hair was slightly s
shorter on the sides, but the hair from his forehead was combed back and tied into a small braid.
Matthew laughed boisterously, his lips curling into a radiant smile. When he laughed, his eyes squinted, and his nose wrinkled, making him look a bir silly.
Ava could not help but disdainfully glance at him and say, “idioer”
She lowered her head and glanced at the dress she was wearing, deciding not to go back and change.
Ava extended her finger and poked Matthew’s back, saying, “Get off. Il drive.”
Matthew was riding a motorcycle with a footreu in the front.
He quickly responded, “How could I let you drive? 17 handle it”
Wa cast a cold glance at him and retorted, “Don’t yap. Just let me drive, okay!“.
Challenged by her words, Matthew reluctantly got off and obediently sat in the back
Ava gut on the motorcycle, twisted the key to start it, and then revved the throttle.
Matthew anxiously thought to himself that things were not looking good as he tightly held onto the stainless–steel frame and swallowed nervously, saying. “Ava, slow down!”
Before he could finish speaking, the motorcycle roared with a thunderous sound as Ava accelerated, shooting forward like an arrow released from a bow.
Manhew’s face turned pale.
Everyone said not to ride on Ava’s motorcycle or let Ava drive it, as she would treat the bike like a rocket.
Matthew didn’t even have time to say anything and could only hold on tightly.
Ava’s slender waist was within reach, but he did not have the courage to hold onto it.
He swallowed nervously, recalling the last time he attempted to embrace Ava and ended up being thrown over her shoulder, struggling to get up.
The motorcycle swiftly advanced, taking sharp turns, drifting, and surpassing the speed of cars After what seemed like an eternity, the bike came to a thunderous halt.
Ava turned off the engine, removed the key, and twirled it around her finger.
She removed her helmet, and her long hair cascaded down like a waterfall.
Meanwhile, Matthew had already taken off his helmet and was leaning against a garbage bin, violently retching
His stomach churned, feeling nauseous and uncomfortable, but he could not vomit anything,
swore
that he would never ride on Ava’s motorcycle again.
And
Ava had the audacity to ask, “Matthew, do you get motion sickness?”
Her beautiful eyes looked innocent at that moment

Chapter 10
Matthew felt certain that Ava was doing this on purpose.
Ava was familiar with this area.
She had arrived with Melissa without having breakfast in the morning. Now, after some time had passed, she was feeling hungry. Together with Matthew, they walked into a spicy food restaurant
It was the last day of the seven–day holiday, and the restaurant was not crowded during hunchtime.
Ouside the visible kitchen was a long shell covered with glass displaying various dishes and nutritional information.
Ava was a meat lover. She picked up a few dishes, and all of them had meat.
Matthew’s mouth twitched
Other girls would complain about wanting to lose weight and avoid eating meat or desserts, but Ava never cared about that. She ate so much meat and had never gained weight.
After choosing the dishes, they handed the menu to the waiter and found a seat.
While waiting for the food, Matthew said. “Ava, the game program you made for me last time was really fun. My nephew had a great time playing it. Can you design another one!”
Ava raised her eyes and gave him a cold look
“I made it for you last time because you helped me out, but that doesn’t mean I’ll make another one for you. Do you think I’ll make another game for you for free by treating me to this meal today?”
Matthew choked.
Once again, he was sure that Ava was truly money–minded.
Building a personal connection was not going to work. Only money could sway her
Matthew asked. “How much money do you want?”
Ava extended her fingers, ten of them.
Her fingers were slender, and each one was extremely delicate. It was unbelievably beautiful.
Matthew felt a pang in his heart. “100 thousand dollars?”
“Hey, 100 thousand dollars is too expensive. Come on, how about I give you 10 thousand dollars?
Ava glanced at him and said. “Deal. I originally thought of charging you a token amount, like one hundred dollars, for electricity fees. But since you’re offering 10 thousand dollars, that works too.”
Matthew felt like his heart was bleeding in an instant
Gabriel almost immediately spotted Ava as soon as
in as he entered
The corners of his lips curled up slightly, and as if being enchanted, he walked toward her.
Unlike the distant, cold, and ruthless Ava from that rainy night, she now appeared much brighter and cheerful, more like a girl her age.
Gabriel glanced at Matthews, his gaze slightly chilling.
He did not understand why Mathew could make Ava laugh.
Joshua, who had just parked the car and followed Gabriel inside, could not help but feel a headache coming on when he saw Gabriel approaching
Ava
Sensing something, Ava and Manhew both looked over.
The noisy restaurant fell momentarily silent.
Everyone’s gaze turned toward Gabriel, who was truly the most handsome guy in this world.
His slender frame and graceful presence resembled a living masterpiece, exuding an air of nobility and elegance.
Ava could not help but be stunned. She did not understand why she encountered Gabriel again.
Then Gabriel said. “What a coincidence, you’re here too. Can we share a table!”
