Though not directly addressing Ava by name, Gabriel’s words were clearly directed at her as his gaze remained fixed upon her.
Joshua rushed over, his lips involuntarily twitching
He never expected to witness Gabriel resorting to such a clichéd approach at some point in his life.
This was no mere coincidence.
Gabriel had deliberately come here to find Ava.
Earlier this morning, at six o’clock, Joshua had received an urgent call from home demanding his immediate returt

After repeatedly confirming that Joshua was unharmed, jason hesitated before speaking, “I had a dream. I dreamt that you were in a car accident in Brookhaven. You died, and Gabe was severely injured.”
Joshua’s eyes widened in shock as he glanced toward Gabriel, whose gaze showed a complex blend of emotions, yet without a trace of surprise.
Joshua could not help but recall Ava’s earlier statement, warning them of the possibility of a fatal accident if they were to drive later that night‘
At the time, he had dismissed her words as mere mischief.
After leaving the ward, Joshua immediately made a phone call, asking someone to check if there was a car accident in Brookhaven yesterday.
As it turned out, right in the alley they had entered, at Il pan. last night, two cars collided, resulting in one death and two serious injuries.

At that moment, upon seeing Ava, Joshua could not help but wonder. If Cabriel had not insisted on staying at Ava’s house last night, their departure time would have coincided with eleven o’clock.
“Would we have really been in a car accident, just like Ava said, if we had left at that time?” Joshua pondered.
