“Do you really not want to know who I am to Brother Thompson?”
Sophia Hart asked the maid to bring her a cup of juice.
The maid was very respectful.
Julia Land observed the maid’s attitude.
“Then who are you to him?” Julia raised an eyebrow and asked.
Sophia Hart saw that nothing could anger her and gleefully said, “Poor Brother Thompson, you’re not even jealous. If a woman isn’t jealous, it means she doesn’t love him.”
“I am jealous in my heart.”
Julia responded half–heartedly.
Leo Thompson entered just as Julia said this.
He walked up to Julia, leaned down, and lifted her chin, “Really jealous in your heart?”
James Thompson chuckled.
He knew Julia wasn’t jealous.
She might have a fondness for him, but it hadn’t reached the point of love.
Sophia Hart became submissive when Leo walked in.
James was holding Julia’s hand.
Julia tried to pull away, but he held on firmly.
He played with Julia’s hand, looking indifferently at Sophia Hart, “Why haven’t you gone back to Capital City yet?”
“I ran away from home.”
Sophia answered boldly.
James didn’t pay her any mind but introduced her to Julia, “She is the third wife that
married.”

Julia, “.
Doubting the meaning of the words?
His dad married… the third wife?
Sophia Hart was very young
His dad must be in his fifties or sixties, right?
James, wanting to survive, further explained, “My dad is quite flirtatious, but I am very committed in relationships.”
“That’s debatable,” Sophia Hart interfered from the side, “Little Julia, Brother Thompson is very

popular with the girls in Capital City. He used to be a doctor there, and those girls, even if they weren’t sick, would register to see him. It annoyed him so much that he decided to go to another city to practice medicine.
Julia imagined that scene, where even those not sick would register to see Doctor Thompson, probably trying his patience.
She smiled.
“In a while, I’ll have someone send you back to Capital City,” Leo Thompson said Indifferently.
Sophia instantly changed the topic.
When the two girls started talking, they completely ignored the men.
Seeing that Julia and Sophia were chatting about things girls liked and completely ignoring hist
mood,
James reluctantly went to the study to work.
Seeing James had left, Sophia stuck out her tongue, slumped on the sofa, and tilted her head to look at Julia, “Let me tell you something else, I am Brother Thompson’s cousin.”
Julia was startled for a moment. The relationships in wealthy families were truly complex.
The convoluted internal affairs were something Julia wasn’t qualified to ask about.
While chatting with Sophia Hart, Noah Quarter sent her the address and room number of a hospital.
Julia was overjoyed and couldn’t wait to go see Little Violet.
“Sophia, let’s chat another day; I need to go out now”
“Little Julla, can I come along? Never mind if it’s not okay, I’m just bored.”
Sophia blinked her eyes. She was merely asking. If it wasn’t convenient for Julia, she wouldn’t insist on going.
Julia thought for a moment, then nodded. She asked Sophia to wait as she went to find James in the study.
James knew Julia was going to the hospital to see her brother. He didn’t ask further, only questioned, “Do you want me to accompany you?”
Julia shook her head.
Her cheerful mood was something James could feel.
Meanwhile, Noah heard from the hospital.
Julia was at the hospital to visit Little Violet.
Noah glanced at the time the message was sent.
An hour ago, he had sent her the hospital address and ward number, and she had immediately rushed over.

Sophia Hart had never encountered such a delicate man before.
Outside the ward, Julia Land asked the doctor about Violet’s post–surgery recovery.
Inside, Sophia Hart couldn’t stop staring at the white–haired man on the hospital bed.
Violet felt a bit helpless–it wasn’t the first time someone had stared at him like this.
“Miss Hart, would you like some fruit?”
Sophia Hart snapped out of her trance, embarrassed that she had been staring blankly at a man. “No, thank you, she replied.
After Julia finished inquiring about Violet’s recovery, she happily returned to the ward.
“Little Violet, the doctor said you’ll be able to leave the hospital soon.”
Violet smiled gently, “Sister Julia, thank you.”
His gaze landed on her hand, which was in a splint.
He had seen the news and knew why her hand was injured, and he also thought about the recent news concerning Noah and Arabella Shaw.
“Miss Hart, I would like to speak with Sister Julia alone, if that’s okay?”
Sophia Hart blushed as she looked at him–though naive, she was no fool. She obediently nodded
and left the ward.
Julia sat in a chair, raised an eyebrow, and asked with a smile, “What did you want to tell me,
Little Violet?”
“Sister Julia, are you and Noah still okay?” Violet looked at her, his eyes filled with warmth, “You don’t need to lie to me. I’ve been out of touch for a while. Did he use me to threaten you?”
Julia thought of the images of her being toyed with by Wesley Turner, she calmly said, “Noah and I won’t be together anymore, at most for another half a year.”
Violet hated that he had burdened Julia.
“Little Violet, I’m glad,” Julia touched his white hair, “as long as you’re okay, I’m happy”
She would never forget that day when she and Violet were so hungry, and they went to pick up
discarded food.
The thirteen–year–old Violet held her tightly in his arms.
That day, his blood had flowed onto her face.
Violet smiled warmly, “If Sister Julia is happy, I’m happy.”
Since there are visiting hours at the hospital, Julia planned to stay with Violet until the latest visiting hour.
Sophia Hart didn’t leave either.
The three of them even set up a card game.

The loser of the game had to wear sticky notes.
With one hand disabled, Julia was slow at playing cards, and today she lost quite frequently.
Sticky notes covered her face.
James Thompson called, and Julia blew on a sticky note on her nose before answering, “Hello?”
“I’ve brought some medication for you to the hospital entrance.”
The man’s lazy and deep voice came from the other end of the phone.
Julia removed the sticky notes from her face, “I’ll be out for a moment.”
She walked to the hospital entrance.
James Thompson saw her coming and handed her a bag, “There’s medication and water inside.”
Julia took it, expressing her gratitude, “Thank you.”
James Thompson removed a sticky note from her forehead; Julla blushed, realizing she had just walked downstairs with a sticky note on her head.
James Thompson smiled, reattaching the sticky note to her forehead, “A very stylish clip, I’m off
now.”
Julia returned to the hospital, carrying the bag of medications, and ran into Violet’s primary physician in the elevator.
“Mrs. Quarter, fortunately, Mr. Quarter’s bone marrow matched with Little Violet’s, otherwise Violet might have had to wait!
Julia dropped the bag of medications she was holding in shock, “Who did you say donated the
bone marrow?”
The doctor was a bit taken aback, “Mr. Quarter, didn’t you know?”
Julia picked up the medications from the floor, feeling inexplicably sad, her reddened, “Doctor, thank you for telling me.”

Had it been before, she would have arrogantly thought that Noah did this favor because he liked
