Tears welled up in Halley’s eyes as she begged pitifully, “Everyone made fun of me after our wedding was destroyed previously. Now, I’m being stood up by Alexia. I’ll be a total joke if anyone finds out! Can’t we wait just a little longer?”
Her family had invited people to celebrate their registration at home. She couldn’t possibly turn empty–handed

Meanwhile, in the hospital
Alexia hadn’t moved an inch to three whole hours as he ayes were fixed on the room of the operating room with determination.
Victor’s heartached to see her in this state. Just as he was about to speak, the door flung open.

“There was a brain hemorrhage. Although the surgery was a success,

danger. She has to be transported to the ICU unit, the doctor explained.

The doctor removed his gloves and said, “Family members are not allowed in the ICU. There are professional nurses to care for her. You should go home and rest. You can only take care of the patient if you’re healthy.”
