“Yes, Lucas Trivett. I’ll marry you.”
I extended my hand, and Lucas slipped the ring onto my finger.
Beneath the star–filled sky and surrounded by the blessings of the elders, we kissed passionately. Even our wolves let out deep, resonant howls, celebrating our union.

Chapter o
Soon, the day of our official wedding arrived.
The wedding was grand, every detail tailored to my preferences. From the cake to my dress, Lucas had everything specially made exactly how I wanted them, ensuring there wasn’t a single regret.
When it came time to exchange rings, something unexpected happened. Ryan, who was supposed to be recuperating at home from his serious injuries, barged into the ceremony.
“Alice! You can’t marry him!”
Ryan’s father flew into a rage, immediately ordering the guards to detain him.
“You ungrateful son! Today is your uncle’s big day, and you’re making a scene?” he roared. “If you don’t stand down, I’ll strip you of your position as heir!”
For the first time, Ryan defied his father directly
“Then so be it! I don’t care about being heir anymore! All I want is Alice! Alice, you might not believe me, but in our previous life, you married me! We supported each other and grew old together. That’s how it should have been. But now everything’s gone wrong! If you come back to me, I promise I’ll work hard. Whatever Uncle Lucas can give you, I’ll achieve that and more!

If I hadn’t been reborn myself, perhaps the old me might have believed his nonsense.
I couldn’t understand why Ryan was so fixated on me in this life. Had he truly realized he loved me and was filled with regret?
But whatever the answer, it no longer mattered to me. My wolf loathed him to the core. I looked him straight in the eyes and said, enunciating each word, “Ryan, your thoughts no longer matter to me. If you still don’t understand, then listen carefully: I love Lucas. I love only him in this life, and that will never change. From now on, just like Lucas, I will see you as a nephew. I hope you respect me enough to call me Aunt Alice when you see me!”
With that, I turned back and exchanged rings with Lucas.
Right in front of Ryan, I took the initiative to kiss Lucas, our wolves passionately responding to each other.
Under the witness of the Moon Goddess, we bonded with each other as mates.
Ryan stood there, mouth agape, unable to utter another word. In a fit of despair, he did something drastic–plunging a silver dagger into his own chest. Blood poured from his wound as he collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
