“You’re still angry?” Chester asked.
“What do you think of Rosalind? Is she pretty?” Angelina asked.
“No.”
Chester lowered his head and sealed her lips. Angelina’s eyes widened, and she didn’t know what to do with her hands. Afraid she might get tired, he supported her waist gently.
Angelina had a great figure to begin with, and her pregnancy only enhanced her allure.
Chester couldn’t get enough of her. Angelina’s face turned crimson. She felt the air around her grow thinner as her mind began to blur.
Letting out a soft hum, she pulled back, creating a distance between them.
Chester licked his lips, still unsatisfied. “Angie, did I make you uncomfortable?”
“No.”
It felt good–too good, in fact, to the point where it was dangerous to indulge deeper. A gentle touch could be deadly.
“I’m just… a bit sleepy.”
Just as Angelina lay down, her phone suddenly buzzed. A notification stating she had received three million popped up.
The sound instantly broke the silence in the room.
Chester–who had just taken off his shirt to change into a white T–shirt, exposing his toned waist and abs–froze mid–movement.
Angelina sat up. “Am I being scammed?”
She checked, making sure it wasn’t a scam. Ryan had transferred three million dollars to her.
“Ryan transferred it. Is he crazy?”
Angelina was about to call Ryan when he sent a message. “Angelina, Louis asked me to give you this. He’s worried you might not have enough money to spend.”
Ryan didn’t know how to explain this over the phone. Since Chester didn’t seem to mind, he decided to just transfer the money and stay on good terms with both sides.
Angelina froze as she looked up at Chester.
“Send it back.”
Angelina nodded mechanically and quickly started the transfer. In her haste, she didn’t double

-check and only sent 300,000 dollars back.
The shirtless Chester stared at the phone screen. “You didn’t send all of it back.”
Angelina counted the remainder and transferred the rest back.
“Tell him you don’t want or need it. And ask Ryan to inform Louis that you won’t need his money in the future.
“Okay.” Angelina did as Chester said and sent the message.
“Chester said I don’t need it. And he asked me to tell you to inform Louis that I won’t need his money in the future either.”

she was about to send the message, Chester snatched the phone from her.
Angelina was dumbfounded, her mind instantly going blank. “W–What’s wrong?”
“Do you really want the money?”
“Well, it’s a lot, but I can’t accept it.”
Actually, she did want it. Who wouldn’t want money, after all?
But she had never even met Louis. How could she accept three million dollars from him?
“Then just say you don’t want it. Why drag me into it?”
“Didn’t you tell me to say those things?”
“Stop talking back.” Chester suddenly became serious.
Angelina sighed. “I don’t know how to say it. I’m not good with words. Why don’t you do it?”
She thought Chester might be polite, but he wasn’t at all.
He only replied, “I don’t want it.”
After the message was sent, he blocked Ryan’s number on her phone.
The next day, Ryan was dumbfounded.
“It’s so strange. I transferred the money to Angelina last night, and she sent it back. She’s someone who loves money, but she refused it. Has she gone crazy? She even blocked me.”
“If she doesn’t want it, so be it. Tell Louis not to do this anymore. I won’t let my wife suffer.” Chester stood at a breezy spot, smoking a cigarette. It calmed most of his thoughts.
“Your wife?” Ryan looked up at him.
Chester, who was towering over Ryan, scowled. “Any problem with that?”
