Before Luna could get up, she was on top of her. The little boy rushed over and grabbed Beatrice’s hair. She cursed as she toppled to the side.
Luna quickly stood up and struck Beatrice on the head with her high heels. “You old hag! It’s all your fault. You and your son ruined my life!
“If it weren’t for my son, do you think I’d still want to be with Nathan? –

“If it weren’t for the money, I wouldn’t have put up with your useless son. I wouldn’t have ever become his mistress!
The more Luna raged, the harder she struck Beatrice. Soon, Beatrice lay motionless on the ground.
Luna trembled as she touched Beatrice’s nose. She shuddered and said in a quivering voice, She’s… dead.”

“Mom!” Nathan arrived late and pulled Luna off Beatrice. Then, he started hitting her and the boy.
I took the opening to pull Stella back to the car, but I did not drive away immediately.
She held my hand and asked, “Mom, who are those people? What happened to them?”
“They’re lunatics.”
Just as I finished speaking, Nathan stopped hitting them. Luna was twitching on the floor, and the little boy lay unconscious with blood dripping from his nose.
Nathan’s eyes were bloodshot with rage. He lunged at me like a madman. “Wifey… Harriet, I killed those scumbags. Please forgive me. Let’s get back together!”
He was almost at my car window when the police arrived and quickly restrained him.
Nathan had killed Luna. He defended himself by claiming that he only did it because she had murdered his mother.
However, the little boy refused to forgive him.
Nathan was sentenced to fifteen years in prison, and the little boy became no less than an orphan.
The news spread everywhere, even in the orphanage where the boy was placed. As a result, the little boy was bullied.
One day, a couple came to adopt him. They saw that he was well–behaved and willing to leave with them.
When he confessed that he was the child of a mistress and a madman, the couple hesitated. But in the end, they decided to take him in.
“Do you think what your biological parents did was right?”

The sins of the previous generation should not be borne by their offspring. I decided to move abroad to avoid any possibility of encountering him in the future.
I wished that Stella would never face any struggle that she did not deserve in her life.
