Nathan saw the remnants of cracked egg on my face and gave me a disgusted look. “Well, you cheated on me, Harriet. Neither of us is innocent. Let’s just call it even.

I laughed bitterly. “How ridiculous, Nathan! Our relationship ended the moment you betrayed

Nathan’s face twisted in anger as he glared at me. “Betrayed you? You really want to keep holding on to this?!

After Nathan said that, he shoved his phone in my face.
There were a lot of people who had recorded videos of our fight. The internet was soon flooded with hateful comments about me.
Every comment was the same. They accused me of disrespecting government researchers, cheating on my marriage, and caring only about money.
Some even began threatening my company!
There was also a video showing a large group of people gathered outside my company. They were holding signs and banners as they smashed the glass doors.
The security guards and secretaries rushed downstairs immediately, but the crowd threw rotten eggs at them. Some even threw hails!
The police arrived quickly, but the crowd showed no signs of backing down. They pointed at the company and shouted for it to be shut down.
I frowned. I was unsure how the secretary would explain things to our business partners.
I gritted my teeth and said, “Nathan, do you know what happens if you impersonate a government researcher?”
