Lsmiled back at him and then turned to take my things from my room. With this, everything was finally over.
I volunteered at a new orphanage. Hearing the children’s laughter every day healed my soul.
When I next heard about Victor, a year had passed. He had accidentally found out he had necrospermia, making him practically infertile.
The baby I lost had been his only chance at having a child.
When Rachel heard about my pregnancy back then, she had found someone else to impregnate her in a fit of desperation. She wanted to marry Victor ASAP so she could get her hands on his company and assets.

However, things did not go her way. In the end, her baby was born premature and did not survive.
Rachel was heartbroken, and she blamed Victor for everything. The next thing she

I thought Silas would take advantage of that. After all, he had always wanted Victor’s company and fortune.
