Chapter 30: Alphas‘ Fight
(Scarlett’s POV)
The room was suffocating with tension. It curled around us, tightened its grip, and threatened to detonate at any second. Roman stood beside me.
tall and commanding, his piercing blue eyes sharply fixed on Alexander.
Across from him, Alexander’s body was rigid, his jaw clenched so tightly I thought it might snap. Anger radiated from him in waves, his amber eyes glowing faintly with the power of his wolf, Mason, clawing to be let out
“Leave, Alexander,” I said, keeping my voice steady, though my pulse raced wildly. I didn’t trust the fragile hold on this situation–it felt like walking on the edge of a blade. “You need to go.”
Alexander snapped his glare toward me, disbelief roling across his face. His lips curled into a sneer. “You think just walk away after this?” He threw his arm out, motioning toward Roman, his words dripping with venom. “After seeing this? You planned this, Scarlett. Didn’t you?”
“Planned what?” I shot back, narrowing my eyes.
“Don’t act innocent!” he shouted, his voice shaking with rage. “You let Grace suffer! You’ve sabotaged everything–for this! For your affair with him!”

ely had time to process the accusation before Roman moved.
It happened so fast, I didn’t even see him take the first step. One moment he was beside me, calm and cold, and the next, the sound of flesh meeting
Besh cracked through the air like thunder.
Roman’s fist collided with Alexander’s jaw in a bone–jarring impact. The noise made me wince.
Alexander flew backward, crashing into my coffee table. The wood gave an agonizing groan before it splintered beneath him, crumbling into shards.
“Roman!” I yelled, but he wasn’t listening.
Alexander groaned as he staggered to his feet, one hand clutching his jaw. His eyes burned with fury as he spat blood onto my floor. “You think you can just hit me and walk away?” he snarled, his voice low and dangerous. His wolf, Mason, simmered just beneath his human form, desperate for release.
Roman didn’t respond with words. He rolled his shoulders, an almost casual movement, but his energy cracked ominously. His smirk was sharp, his
y eyes flicking over Alexander like a hunter sizing up its prey.
“Walk away?” Roman said, his tone deceptively light. He stepped forward, his towering frame casting a shadow over Alexander. Tim not walking
away from anything.”
Alexander let out a feral growl his claws extending as he prepared to strike. “You’re nothing but an outsider, he spat, lunging at Roman with all the
strength his wolf could muster.
The clash was deafening, a tangle of power that shook the room. Roman met Alexander’s attack head–on, their bodies colliding with enough force to
rattle the windows.
I pressed myself against the wall, heart pounding as I watched the chaos unfold.
Roman’s speed was unrelenting. He stepped to the side, avoiding Alexander’s clawed swing, and countered with a crushing elbow to his ribs. The dull
thud of impact made my stomach churn.
Alexander retaliated quickly, swiping at Roman’s arm and managing to graze him just enough to draw blood. But Roman didn’t even flinch. He
glanced at the shallow cut and smirked as if Alexander’s effort amused him.
“That’s #?” Roman taunted, his voice a cold whisper. “This is the strength of the North’s heir?”
Alexander snarled, his wolf finally breaking free as his teeth elongated and his golden eyes intensified. Tl show you strength
They collided again, an explosion of pure dominance that sent furniture flying. My couch tipped over, crashing against the wall as their wolves clawed for control
Roman grabbed Alexander by the collar with ease, using his superior strength to slam him against the wall. The impact was violent, leaving a dent in my drywall. His icy blue gaze burned with lethal intent as he loomed over the struggling Alpha.
“Roman, stop!” I yelled, my voice almost drowned out by the growls vibrating through the room. “You’re going too far!
