As I walked out with Ronan, I spotted a familiar figure standing not far away.
I thought about pretending not to see him, but he called out my name.
“Hailey, when I got home, I noticed all your things were gone, so I asked friends for your new address. There’s really nothing going on between me and Emily. Can you come home with me?”
After saying this, Harry tried to hand me the flowers he was holding.
I didn’t take the flowers and kept stepping back to maintain a safe distance from him.
I turned to Ronan beside me and smiled apologetically. “Sorry, I have something to deal with today. I’ll treat you to coffee tomorrow.”

As Harry watched me speak with Ronan, he mistakenly thought we were flirting.
He frowned and glared at me.
“So the reason you moved out is because of that guy? I haven’t even agreed to the divorce, and you’re already with someone else! Do you know the first thing I did when I got home was to buy flowers to try to cheer you up?”
Seeing Harry’s unreasonable demeanor, I slapped him.
“Not everyone is as shameless as you to cheat while married. We’re done, you don’t nest to pretend to be deeply in love!”
