Rebirth to avenge my cheating husband Chapter 7

Chapter

Gary and Katrina accused the three girls of intentionally harming their newborn child and demanded they be sent to prison

The girls, however, fought back, claiming it was Katrina who had abused them first. They insisted they had never actually hurt the baby

After their last confrontation, Katrina, realizing they wouldn’t just silently endure her torment, escalated her abuse

She not only starved them but also constantly accused them in front of Gary, claiming they bullied her as a group. Already fed up with them, Gary grew even more resentful. Eventually, he stopped caring about them altogether and ordered them to get out of his house

With nowhere else to go, the girls had no choice but to stay and swallow their pride

Gary’s neglect turned them into Katrina’s personal punching bags

Beatings and insults became routine. On particularly bad days, she even burned them with cigarette butts

Over time, their hatred for her grew

One day, Katrina told them that once her baby was born, they would have to pack up and leave

The fear of having nowhere to go consumed them. They were terrified that once the baby was born, they would truly be cast out. In their desperation, they began to harbor dark thoughts

But they had only thought about it, and they never actually did anything

The day Katrina gave birth, they hadn’t laid a finger on the baby

Yet neither Gary nor Katrina believed them. Even the judge had no evidence proving they were innocent

Public outrage erupted. People condemned the girls, calling them selfish and ruthless, demanding that they pay with their lives for what they had supposedly done to Katrina’s child

But as I looked at them trembling in court, I knew, despite their selfishness, they lacked the nerve to actually harm an unborn child

I met with Gary in private and advised him, You’re not young anymore. These three are your own flesh and blood. One day, when you’re old, you’ll need them to take care of you. Don’t be so heartless.”

Gary scoffed, They’re cruel and selfish. I won’t let them take care of me even if they want to. It’s best if they rot in prison, so they can’t harm anyone else. That way, they can atone for my dead child.”

Not long after he said this, all three of his daughters were dead

They died in the detention center by their own hands, in the most resolute way possible

Their blood pooled around them, and on the floor, written in their own blood, were desperate accusations. They protested the false crimes forced upon them, proclaiming their innocence

At their residence, the police found a letter, a letter of apology addressed to me

In it, they expressed regret for their past disrespect and for choosing to stay with Gary instead of coming with me

When Gary heard about their deaths, he showed no reaction. Instead, he calmly reassured Katrina, The murderers have paid with their lives. Our child can finally rest in peace.”
