Chapter 37
“Yay! Niamh, I’ll be waiting for you!” Beau cheered and happily ended the call.
Niamh shot Harvey a simig look. “Well? Impressive, right? Your son listens to me now!”
Harvey warned, “Don’t take him anywhere dangerous.”
“Relax! I know what I’m doing! Bean needs to follow my leat if he wants to grow into a real man!”

Elara returned to the boxing gym, where Beryl had been training; Bambi for over half an hour.
Bambi wore pink boxing gloves, and her hair was tied up in cute little twin buns. She punched the sandbag in a steady rhythm, while Beryl, who was holding it in place, took the brunt of her strength.
Sweat poured off Beryl’s body, drenching his shirt as if he had just been pulled from a lake.
He asked while panting heavily, “You good? Need a break?
Meanwhile, Bambi hadn’t broken a sweat. “I can hit it a hundred more times! One, two, three!”
Even her voice was still full of energy-
An hour later, Beryl collapsed onto the floor, clutching the sandbag in pure exhaustion. He looked as though he had lost all will to live.
Elara walked up. She was about to check on Bambi, but instead, the words that came out were, “Mr. Caddel, are you alright?”
Beryl stared blankly at the ceiling, his eyes void of life. “What the hell do you feed your daughter? Is she sneaking protein powder behind your back?”
“I haven’t given her any supplements. Bambi just eats simple, healthy food,” Elara assured him.
She then asked, “Do you think my daughter is suited for boxing?”
Still lying on the ground, Beryl weakly lifted a trembling hand, holding up two fingers.
“Only two points?” Elara tensed.
Beryl shook his head. “Just two more lessoff, then send her straight to the city’s boxing team. I have nothing to teach her!”

That afternoon, a modified black motorcycle roared as it pulled up outside the gym.
Beau sat in front of Niamh, lifting the visor of his helmet just in time to see Elara and Bambi stepping out of the
EVILL
Bambi, still energized from her boxing session, playfully threw a couple of punches in the air as they walked.
Beau narrowed his eyes. “What are you guys doing here?”
Before Elara could answer, Niamh’s voice rang out, dripping with amusement. “Didn’t you know? Your mommy is working as a janitor at your Uncle Finn’s gym!”
She had deliberately brought Beau here to see Elara mopping floors, only to arrive a little too late. It seemed Elara

had already finished her shift.
But still, Niamh was satisfied.
Elara looked so pathetic. She had no makeup on, was dressed in a cheap quick–dry shirt and straight–leg pants, and her hair was slightly damp with sweat. To Niamh, she looked exactly like someone who had been cleaning all day.
“I only have Uncle Ben! No Uncle Finn! My only maternal uncle is Benjamin Jones, CEO of Jones Group!” Beau protested.
Even at just five years old, he understood that jobs had ranks and relatives had social standings.
Bambi’s eyes widened in anger. “Beau! Uncle Finn is an amazing person!”
The moment she spoke, Beau immediately snapped, “Grandma said I’m not like you anymore! You have poor relatives–1 don’t!”
With a haughty scoff, Beau turned to Niamh. “Niamh, let’s go! I don’t want a janitor for a mom–it’s embarrassing!”
Niamh smirked victoriously behind the helmet. She laughed while revving the engine. “Hold on tight, little man! I’ll take you out for a feast!”
“Beau! That was too much!”
Bambi yelled as she chased after them, but the motorcycle had already sped off into the distance.
Bambi turned back while looking at her mother with worry. “Mommy, don’t be mad…”
Elara shook her head. “I’m not mad. Beau is finally living the life he wanted.”
It was the indulgent life he had dreamed of–whatever price he had to pay for it, he would come to understand time.
But she never expected the consequences to arrive that very night. Deep into the night, Harvey was startled awake by frantic knocking at his door.
“Mr. Fisher, something’s wrong! Mr. Beau has lost consciousness!”
