Chapter 11 Self–Harm to Frame Her (1)
There was no way Chloe would leave.
She had been gone for years, during which time Samuel had broken his promise and married someone else. Chloe thought, “if she left again, what if Eliana not only give birth to his child but also somehow made Samuel fall in love with her?” Chloe had lost the chance to be a mother and had been living a life worse than death all these years. Why should she give them two more years to be happy?‘
“If she couldn’t be happy, neither should they.”
This time, they wouldn’t get rid of her so easily.”
At last Samuel said, “Fine, if you insist on staying, then stay.”
He didn’t want to say more. He looked at his half–finished poached eggs and stood up. He calmy put on his coat, and left the house.
Chloe sat alone feeling a mix of satisfaction and resentment.
‘How dare Samuel treat her this way? If it weren’t for him back then, would she be here clinging to him now?”
Chloe’s frown twisted into a smile. She decided to go upstairs.
Eliana was still sleeping.
Perhaps due to the pregnancy, and because she hadn’t slept well for the past few days due to her mood, she was oversleeping
Maybe it was the dangerous aura she felt beside her, but Eliana forced herself awake.
When she opened her eyes Eliana was startled by the woman standing by her bed looking like she wanted to murder her.
She hurriedly sat up and coldly demanded, “Who let you into my room? Get out!”
Chloe didn’t budge, her eyes viciously glaring at Eliana.
She really wanted to strangle her.
“If this woman died, no one would dare to have Samuel’s child, right?”
She approached Eliana step by step, dangerously and maliciously.
Seeing Chloe’s body language, Eliana glared back just as fiercely. Although she was small and sitting down, she refused to be intimidated.
Chloe stopped by the bed and sneered at Eliana.
“Eliana, how much is Samuel paying you to have his child?”
Chloe ultimately didn’t dare to do anything to this girl, fearing Samuel might truly abandon her. She tried to cat herself down.
Eliana thought this woman was utterly shameless.
Being the other woman and barging in so arrogantly.
Eliana gritted her teeth and retorted sarcastically, “How much did your dad pay your mom to have you?”
“You-

Eliana interrupted her, standing up on the bed so she was taller than Chin You look well–dressed and seem to have status. How can you do somethi home to prove how disgraceful you are? Or did your mom give birth to you specifically to train you to steal other people’s husbands?”
Chloe hadn’t expected Eliana to say such things and was momentarily speechless.
“If you’re really that lonely and want a man, you can tell me nicely. I can go find a few for you on the street. You’re so eager to come looking for a married man, are you really that cheap, or do you think it’s fun? Should I open a bottle of wine to help you celebrate?”
Eliana said her speech in one breath, every word hitting the mark, leaving Chloe no chance to refute.
Chloe glared at Eliana, gritting her teeth, her face twisted. “You-”
Before Chloe could get another word out, Eliana had raised her hand and slapped her.
“Get out now!” Eliana was furious and didn’t want to see her for another second. “Are you feeling superior being the third wheel? Do you think you’re not cheap enough already?”
Chloe couldn’t speak. The slap had left her completely stunned.
She covered her stinging cheek, glaring at Eliana.
She wanted to hit back, but with Eliana standing on the bed, she couldn’t reach her. In the end, she had to turn and leave, utterly humiliated.
Seeing her leave, Eliana still felt uneasy.
‘Didn’t Samuel say he’d make her leave?”
‘Why is she still here? And she dare to enter her room?”
‘If she didn’t kick her out today, she wouldn’t deserve to be Samuel’s wife.”
After getting up to wash and change clothes, Eliana left the room to see if Chloe had gone.
To her surprise, she was still standing by the stairs, not having left at all.
Eliana gritted her teeth, found a broom by her door, picked it up, and walked towards Chloe.
Chloe stood by the stairs, calling Samuel on the phone, but her eyes were fixed on the front door downstairs. When she turned back, she saw Eliana coming towards her with a broom, just as Samuel appeared downstairs. She immediately shouted at Eliana, “I really didn’t mean to disturb you two. Eliana, let me explain-”
Eliana hadn’t even gotten close to Chloe when she heard Chloe’s inexplicably yell, then tumble down the stairs. Eliana was stunned. ‘What kind of act is this?”
Eliana rushed over.
Standing at the top of the stairs, she saw Samuel hurrying over from a distance, calling out, “Chloe!”
up, Samuel saw Eliana standing at the top of the stairs, holding the broom.
