Chapter 13 Are You Going to Stay with Her All Night?
Samuel was about to say that they should handle the divorce quickly..
But before he could finish, he saw Eliana’s big eyes brimming with tears.
The next second, tears rolled down her cheeks.
Those crystal–clear teardrops instantly pierced his heart.
He couldn’t bring himself to say any more harsh words.
Eliana lowered her head, her heart aching so much it made breathing difficult, she asked, “Samuel, do you want a divorce?”
Now she was choking back sobs.
Samuel looked at her sorry state. Despite his displeasure, he ultimately couldn’t bear to leave her alone like this.
He stepped forward, sat down, and pulled her into his arms. “Alright, no crying.”
“I’m don’t want to cry. Samuel I’ll do whatever you want. I’ll be obedient and do whatever you say.”
She didn’t want to cry, didn’t want to appear weak.
But her tears were uncontrollable.
Her heart was in so much pain, she just couldn’t hold it back.
Samuel felt her small body trembling. He should be scolding her, teaching her a lesson.
But at this moment, he couldn’t help but comfort her. “Eliana, be good. Don’t cry, I haven’t done anything to you yet.” “Then what do you want to do with me? If you want a divorce, let’s divorce. At worst, I’ll go back to where I came from.”
She had her pride too.
After all, she had tried her best in this marriage, fought for it.
If she really couldn’t maintain it, what else could she do?
“Who said you could leave? Without my permission, you’re not going anywhere.”
Samuel reached over and pulled a tissue from the box on the coffee table. He gently wiped the tears from her cheeks.
For some reason, whenever this little woman cried, his heart ached, and he felt terrible.
Eliana sniffled, stopping her tears. But she still felt wronged inside. She looked at Samuel and said, “I really didn’t push her”

Samuel sat down next to her and said in a deep voice, “It’s not about whether you pushed her or not anymore. She was injured here, we’re both responsible. Her condition isn’t good. I’ll be visiting her at the hospital often during this time.” Eliana lowered her head and remained silent.
Samuel raised his hand to stroke her head, softening his tone. “Eliana, you need to be good. Don’t make things difficult for me, okay?”
“Haven’t I always been good? But I just can’t tolerate Chloe’s presence.”
“But she’s been injured here now, we have to take responsibility for her.”
Then can you promise me that after she recovers, you won’t have any more contact with her?”
Samuel didn’t know when Chloe would recover, so he could only temporarily agree. “Well, we’ll see,” he said.
Seeing him agree, Eliana habitually snuggled into his arms
Samuel also habitually held her so
From the dining room, Nora informed them, “Mr. Nelson, Mrs. Nelson, dinner is served
Only then did Samuel pat Eliana’s back, saying softly, “Come on, let’s go eat something”

Eliana squirmed a little, still sulking. “I don’t want to eat. I can’t eat.”
“Be good”
“Then carry me there.”
Samuel had no choice but to once again carry her to the dining room.
Even in the dining room, Eliana still didn’t want to get off her man.
She always felt that Samuel had some kind of magic. Once close to him, she simply couldn’t leave.
Samuel helpless once again, let her sit on his lap while he ate and fed her.
Eliana’s eyes were red and swollen, her little face puffed out pitifully, yet somehow adding to her cuteness, and tugging at Samuel’s heart.
Once again he was unable to let go of her, indulging her, and spoiling her in everything.
“How old are you?”
Samuel asked, both amused and exasperated, as he fed her.
Eliana’s made a pout, saying nothing.
Samuel added, “Even kids aren’t as clingy as you.”
Eliana lowered her head, the bitterness in her heart gradually fading, and replaced by a hint of sweetness.
After dinner, Samuel changed clothes, preparing to go to the hospital.
Eliana followed behind him, saying softly. “Can I go with you? Don’t worry, I won’t appear in the hospital room. I’ll just wait for you outside.”
She wanted to see how seriously that woman was injured.
After all, Chloe brought this upon herself–play with fire, and you’re bound to get burned.
Samuel tucked in his shirt and looked at the woman in front of him. He said quietly, “I might not be back tonight, Eli. There’s no point in you coming. Stay home and go to bed early.”
Eliana was aghast, and asked in disbelief, “Are you going to stay with her all night?”
