Chapter 28 Tempting Him Again
Samuel frowned.
He just wanted to lean down closer to her so she could help him tie his tie properly.
Who knew this woman would, tempt him again.
But damn it, every time he couldn’t resist.
After indulging in her passionate kiss for a moment, Samuel pulled away.

“Alright Eli, I need to go to work now.” And his eyes softened as he kissed her again, saying, “Wait for me to come back
tonight”
Eliana knew what he meant, and felt her neck flush.
She quickly completed the knot, then gripped it, not letting go. She warned him, saying, “You’re mine. No matter what happens in the future, you’re not allowed to have anyone else in your heart.”
Samuel straightened up, avoiding Eliana’s gaze as a smile tugged at his lips. He found this Eliana alluring and bewitching.
He strode out of the closet. “Get along well with Chloe at home. Call me if anything happens.”
“Okay, my darling, have a good day at the office,” she said.
After Samuel left, Eliana rushed to the window, and watched until his car left the courtyard. Then, feeling lost, she turned away to organize her closet.
Halfway through organizing the clothes, she heard the thump of a crutch on the carpet at the door.
She looked up and saw Chloe feeling her way into the room.
Eliana noticed Nora wasn’t behind Chloe and found it strange. Wasn’t Chloe still blind? How did she know Eliana was in this room?
Eliana stayed quiet, trying to sneak past Chloe.
But just as she got next to Chloe, Chloe spoke up.
“Eliana, let’s talk ‘
Eliana stopped and looked at Chloe. Seeing that Chloe’s eyes were open but apparently unseeing, she thought Chloe shouldn’t be able to see her or know she was in the room.
So she pretended not to hear and continued walking out.
Unexpectedly, Chloe turned towards her and called out, “Eliana, stop playing games with me. I know you’re beside me.”
Eliana stopped again, curiously looking at Chloe.
She turned back and stood in front of Chloe, deliberately making faces at her, sticking out her tongue, and even pretending to punch Chloe’s face without actually touching her.
But no matter what she did, Chloe’s expression didn’t change at all,
Eliana was confused. ‘Could she really be blind?”
“If she’s blind, why not stay in the hospital for treatment? Why rush to leave the hospital?”
She stopped pretending and laughed. “Look at you, how cruel can you be? You’re even cruel to yourself. Now you can’t see, and your leg is broken. Doesn’t it hurt?”
Chloe’s anger was already boiling inside. She clenched her fists, looking at the wild girl in front of her, wishing she could swat her away like an insect.
But remembering she was supposed to be blind and thus couldn’t see anything, she had to hold back.
Suppressing her anger, Chloe said, “Eliana, you know Sam will eventually marry me. If you leave now, you can still save
face.”

Eliana laughed again. “You’re the most shameless woman I’ve ever met. Chloe, don’t you look in the mirror? Don’t you see how disgusting and pathetic you look? Oh, but of course, you can’t.”
“You-” Chloe paused.
She anxiously said, “Eliana, I’m only trying to have a civil conversation with you.”
“The problem is,” Eliana replied, “I don’t want to talk to someone who’s begging to be insulted. Are you going to leave or not? If not, don’t blame me for getting physical.”
Chloe still didn’t give up, yelling at her, “Why are you so stubborn? Samuel isn’t your final destination. While you’re still young, why not take some money and go enjoy life outside? If you leave, I will give you two million dollars.”
“Hah, keep your money for your own funeral.”
Chloe was blocking her way, not letting her leave. Eliana couldn’t stand it anymore. She might look easy to bully, but she wasn’t actually easy to push around.
Although Samuel said he owed Chloe, Eliana didn’t owe her anything.
In fact, from Eliana’s perspective, Chloe was the homewrecker destroying her family. It was perfectly justified for the wife to beat up the mistress.
She raised her foot to kick her, shouting angrily, “Are you going to leave or not? If not, I will get physical!”
