As she smiled, she didn’t seem like her cold self from the past. Instead, she seemed more easygoing.
“Do I look beautiful with this necklace on?” Liesel asked. Her long fingers gently caressed the heavy and expensive red agate stone weighing on her neck.

Liesel’s smile broadened. She grinned at him. “It doesn’t matter whether it suits me or not as long as I like it.”
Although she was saying that she liked the red agate necklace, it sounded to Jacob that she was saying that she liked Elijah instead.
Liesel took out her phone to take a photo of herself.
Perhaps it was because of how close the camera was, but the picture seemed a bit fuzzy.
Even though it had been taken without any filters, she still looked absolutely gorgeous, as if she had just walked out of a painting. The necklace made her look expensive and glamorous.

Liesel turned off her phone. As she stood, Jacob’s phone rang.

Jacob was taken aback for a moment. For some reason, he had a bad feeling about this.

Jacob was speechless..
Vincent showered him in praise, but Jacob remained silent.
How was he going to explain that this grant, expensive, and extravagant present hadn’t come from him?
There was no way to explain it. In Vincent’s eyes, they weren’t divorced and were still husband and wife.
Considering Liesel’s stubborn personality, she had always stuck to her principles. Thus, she wouldn’t easily accept gifts from other men.

At that moment, Natalie spoke up. “You’re truly charming, Liesel. No matter where you go, you’re the most popular with the men, just like back when you were in school.”
She looked at Liesel, and her guileless eyes were glimmering.
Jacob glanced at her and said indifferently, “She is indeed popular.”

With that, she walked away.
After returning to her desk, she buried herself in her work. Soon, it was time to get off work. Because she had to go to the Ford Manor, Liesel arrived at the underground parking garage
