Anastasia smiled ironically and sat aside without saying anything.
“What? You don’t dare to?” Naomi asked sarcastically.
“I’m not afraid. I just feel that it’s ridiculous.” Anastasia looked at her mother–in–law. It seemed that Naomi didn’t feel any affection for her during their four years of getting along. “It’s my blessing to have a child? What do you mean? Is it the blessing of staying alone in an empty room and being a grass widow like you? If that’s the case. I don’t want this so–called. blessing.”
Anastasia was not like this before. She used to be stupid and didn’t know how to speak well. She chose to be silent after getting bullied and being wronged.
Since she knew she would not live long, she wanted to liberate her nature and live freely.
Everyone would die. Thus, she didn’t feel the need to live so tiredly.
“Anastasia! How can you talk to me like this?” Naomi shouted in a sharp voice like she wanted to hit someone. Her so–called cultured image was ruined.
“Calm down. Mrs. Lopez.” Sienna rushed up and coaxed her. “Our family has spoiled my sister. Please don’t take it personally. Calm down.”
Anastasia wanted to laugh. “My family spoils me? Nobody cared about me ever since I was young!” she thought.
“Look at how impolite you are. I really don’t know what Alastor was thinking back then.” Naomi deliberately provoked Anastasia. “Your younger sister is much better than you. I should have let Alastor choose your sister instead of you.”
Sienna’s eyes lit up when she heard this.
“Anastasia, stop infuriating Mrs. Lopez. She’s in poor health.
Anastasia was secretly laughing at how brainless Sienna was. However, the former no longer cared about her.
“Let’s go.” Anastasia looked at the time, showing that she was busy.
“Where are you going?” Naomi stood up and questioned Anastasia.
“To the hospital. Since you and Alastor are eager to ensure I’m pregnant, let’s go.” Anastasia said hoarsely, not knowing what she was sad about.
“What do I love about Alastor?” Anastasia thought.
Anastasia started not to know why she liked him after four years.
Naomi snorted and stormed downstairs to take Anastasia to the hospital for examination.
Anastasia deliberately followed Naomi. She knew Naomi well. To Naomi, what mattered most to her was the child and having an heir for the family.
Alastor stopped Anastasia at the airport to conduct a check–up because he wanted to abort the child before Naomi knew about it so as to avoid any unnecessary trouble.
Unfortunately, Felicia made a mistake.
Felicia shouldn’t have told Naomi that Anastasia had suddenly spent Alastor’s 600 thousand dollars.
Naomi would definitely rush to the Lawson residence to question such an abnormal issue.
Felicia was still not start enough.
However, no matter how stupid she was, Alastor still loved her.
While waiting for the results in the hospital, Anastasia sat on the bench and kept silent.
Naomi constantly stared at her, fearing Anastasia would pull some tricks to the results.
Anastasia wanted to laugh, but she felt too helpless to do so.
If it weren’t for her dying, she wouldn’t have known when she would need to continue this life.
She felt so suffocated.
During this period, Anastasia sent Alastor a WhatsApp message: [Let’s chat tonight when we go home.]
Alastor did not reply, but he didn’t refuse either.
An hour later, Naomi got the results. “You’re really pregnant.”
While muttering, Naomi called the family doctor to confirm.

“Since you’re pregnant, go home and take good care of yourself. Don’t make any public appearances. It’s not like our family cannot support you financially,” Naomi was still muttering, but her tone became softer after knowing Anastasia was pregnant.
However, Anastasia was not moved by it at all.
Before they left the hospital, Felicia came.
“You actually came here by yourself. Anastasia smiled.
Anastasia knew that Felicia would definitely come because she sent the pregnancy check–up report to Alastor.
“Mr. Lopez made it very clear that he doesn’t want this child. You should be clear about this. Your prenuptial agreement clearly states that both of you do not want children.” Felicia’s tone was sharp.
