Chapter 35
Felicia was stunned for a moment before she saw Jason standing at the door clearly.
After being in a state of shock for a long time, Felicia almost could not speak. She opened her mouth guiltily and replied in at lowered voice. “Ja… Jason? You… You’re back?”
Jason ignored Felicia.
“Do you plan to go back to Atharia?” Felicia drew in a sharp intake of breath and changed the topic awkwardly.

Anastasia stared at Felicia and felt amused as she saw the latter’s face full of panic and hatred.
“I’m going home.” Anastasia felt a little exhausted, smiling gratefully at Jason.
Jason reached out to hold Anastasia but did not say anything, with only his Adam’s apple rolling.
“Since Felicia is here to pick you up. I’ll head back first.” Anastasia suddenly felt meaningless if she continued to cause a commotion here since it would only result in her feeling shameful.
Since Alastor was willing to leave the marriage with nothing, it seemed like she would not have much loss anyway.
Alastor had left enough money for her follow–up treatment and life, and it was enough for Anastasia.
Initially, she wanted to make Alastor regret everything and take revenge on him by hurting him in the same way he had hurt her, such as by going out to search for another man.
However, thinking about it now, Anastasia felt the idea was truly ridiculous.
“Will Alastor feel regret? He won’t, Anastasia thought.
Alastor would have more reasons to live a happy life with Felicia.
On the other hand, the people who were not loved would always become a joke.
Alastor leaned against the wall, having a severe headache. “Let Steven drive you home.”
“No need for that.” Anastasia refused in a hoarse voice.
“I’ll give you a ride.” Regardless of Anastasia’s objection, Jason stepped forward and took her wrist, walking towards the
outside.
“Jason, you’re working here, aren’t you?” Felicia was a little furious and reached out to stop Jason.
She could see that Jason was wearing the clothes of a bar attendant. “Since you’re doing your part–time job, won’t you get punished for leaving your post without permission? I heard your family is very poor and only have your grandma as your family. Your grandmother still needs you to take care of her, right?”
Although Felicia felt guilty for pursuing Jason before, she was not afraid of him. After all, she thought he was from a wealthy family at first, only to discover later that he not only had no money but was also extremely poor.

Jason frowned and shook his head at the manager.
“You’re the manager, right? Don’t you think you should severely punish your employee if they are absent from their post without notice? Not only that, your employee even fought with the customer” Felicia stood in front of Alastor angrily as she heard from Steven that Alastor had fought with someone at the bar.
Alastor and Jason had injuries on their faces, obviously proving that the two had fought.
The manager glanced at Jason awkwardly.
Jason took the initiative to speak first, “I’m just a temporary worker. I can quit.”

Anastasia shot Alastor a glance. The latter drank a little too much, causing his face to turn pale. It looked like he really felt uncomfortable.
“I’ll take Alastor back first. Since your staff had a fight with the customer, we won’t let this matter go without consequences. Steven also did not intend to let Jason go as he gave the man a warning glance while taking Alastor away.
“I’m fine.” Alastor looked pale on his face. He shook off Steven’s hand and looked at Anastasia.
It seemed as if Alastor was determined to see how Anastasia would handle this matter.
He wanted to see who she would side with.
The manager asked in a softened voice, “How do you intend to handle the matter?”
“Get him to apologize and pay for the compensation!” Felicia said angrily. Seeing that Alastor had no intention of letting Jason go, she turned even more aggravated. “Do you know who Mr. Lopez is? If anything bad happens, can this poor bar afford it?”
“Huh…” Anastasia stared at Felicia’s arrogant face.
It was unfortunate that Alastor was standing right there, backing Felicia up.
“As far as I know, Yew Tree Bar belongs to Gunn Group, the richest company in Hork. It’s very likely that they can afford to the compensation.” Anastasia interrupted Felicia and spoke again as she glanced at Alastor. “From my understanding of Jason, he won’t beat anyone unless he’s defending himself. Alastor, you hit him first, right?”
